Pshhh I'm a little person, the Zack at armageddon last year had a wood buster sword. I could barely lift it, in the end I had to use both hands and put effort into it.

I'm lazy, and lazy and also lazy. I can't do more than 1 squat, but I can walk up a mountain with a pack half my weight but stillllsssss
Maybe it's cause my knees click and it hurts a lot =P

Yeah I can do about 20 before i start to feel the burn, but that's WITHOUT the buster sword.

I can't suggest anything Ollithia I'm too lazy for a sport...well I do hockey but I'm sometimes a goalie when my knees hurt.

Playing basketball. I fell over and landed hard and then decided to keep playing >_<

Then I just kept falling over and hurting it more through sport and my own idiotness XD

Ouccchh. I really hate lasting sports injuries, luckily enough I know how to take a fall on account of Judo and Karate.

And the Fred only wants you to think she is not harmless. I will take care of her at Auckland. The Kitten is trouble, Duck likes to act like/get people in like trouble. There are others though. Tobi is allowed one cookie only. And it must be guarded with a ninja

so it does not get stolen.

Well I have never made much in the way of props. Also new to cosplay. But minor detail I have chosen as one of three costumes for Auckland in Oct Zolo. So three swords. I would prefer metal. or failing that wood. But the hassle of getting metal to Auckland, plus in cosplay it's considered safer to use foam/plastic. Hyped up people who don't know how to use swords. I want to be able to hit something lightly so would prefer plastic. But don't really know what to use. Failing that I will just use wood.

My strained arms has not healed in months. Useless work physios. Still it sahould not be permanent.

As for the swords, I know a guy via DeviantArt who is like THE best wooden swordmaker you'll ever lay eyes on, I can link you to his tutorials if need be.
I had that problem in my forearms for a while, but once i lost weight it went away

Oh and don't read too much into the warnings. (Apart from the cosplay contest: you can't use wood. Someone one year had their weapon fly out of there hands and hurt a kid.) You will eventually meet them, some come to CHCHgeddon. I will too in Oct. They like to act trouble on here, but are actually capable of being responsible.

PS. Fred=friend, even if she does insist she trouble.

Ah that would explain it, My problem was because of the cartwheels and handstand kicks I was doing, and my forearms couldn't take the strain, so I laid off doing them for a while and lost some weight, now I'm as right as rain, it's a bit different to swimming I'd imagine, but I wish you luck all the same :)

This guy is seriously the best swordmaker EVER!

And thanks again for the heads up, I'll keep it in mind to hold onto my props a bit tighter from now on lol
