i was just wondering since out group will be done at 12 pm and if its a clear day its going to be very bright i was just wondering what you was going to do to combat the glare XDD

Well, I won't ask you to look directly into it...I'll have Jp on hand to help with lighting, I'll probably be using a reflector and diffuser, maybe two. XP

Also, my flights are now booked - I'll have to cut down on the shooting times on sunday afternoons most places, but I'll have another look at that tonight. I think it's just Christchurch where I need to get to the airport by 5ish...but I don't have the confirmation emails on hand. I'll let everyone know tonight.

ALSO GUYS - could you indicate a preference for location type? Ie, grassy park, old building, middle of road, etc. I'll try and arrange you by location as well so I can cut down on the running to and fro :)

There was a suggestion for Albert Park earlier in this thread which I thought was a good one. Theres greenery, historica buildings and urban short walks away from there.
And GNC for when people wanna take a break. ;)

I'm staying at the grafton oaks, which is pretty much ON the grafton bridge, hospital end. How close is albert park to there? I don't quite know auck well enough yet...XP

Riven: groups are awesome! Just let me know how many of you there are, I'd like to get some individual shots as well please :)

And maaaaaan I'm gonna need a lot of release forms!

I just did a quick wises directions search. It says Albert Park is only 1.3 km from where you're staying, and the Auckland Domain is really close to where you're staying. That's driving directions though, I dunno about walking. Someone who lives in the city should have a better idea there.

Yup, I know the hospital end of the domain reasonably well - hotel was picked with walking in mind, lol! Albert looks good - could do the shoots in order of domain, uni, albert without too much trouble I hope. No car this time though...well, not yet. Could change yet.

@Static: we'll stick to that time for the Haruhi group then <33 and as you can probably see we're formulating a Rozen Maiden group so ==|| you might have to change the times ... maybe seeing as you're allocating 1 hour for groups and 30 min for singles

ALSO ALSO ALSO ... the time you're coming up to auckland ... the sakura trees in the auckland university quad as well as the one down on high street (the one with the fountain and the statue its called comrade square ... its the place in the last few photos that JP took for DO) should be FULL BLOOM ... i think ... yes 8DDD and there are also more sakura trees on Mount St as well (i swear i was so excited when i remembered this morning and was about to text JP but then my phone ran out of battery DDDD8<<) hopefully it wont rain too much or too heavily DDD8

Umm preference of location ... you can ask Duckeh on that one 8DDDD well I would say around the uni area especially around the High Court (Law Faculty) area as well as the clock tower and the university grounds

As to where you are staying it IS walking distance but considering the fact that you will be lugging some sort of equipment around I would suggest taking the Link which goes past the Auckland Hospital (catch from the opposite the Auckland Hospital unless you want to be stuck on the bus for an hour or so) and it's $1.60
