But you study what you love to learn. And the assignments get more real, more what you would actually expect to have to do in a workplace.

You can alway take a year off to decide, earn some money, it comes in handy. Some jobs you learn and qualify on the job.

And more responsibility than a little dance????

Well it's not so much twice your age, once you leave school, say 18 or whatever, then thats it. And you can rediscover you childhood anytime, you just have to pay for it yourself. Lets dress up in costumes and dance down the street, without any sense of shame, like 5 y.o.

Personified Insanity wrote:

Just cause you older you still make mistakes. You just have to accept them.

Does not work like that. You can now behave however you like, you just responsible for it. We do learn more over time, but it's never like there is some hidden secret knowledge. Just responsibility/freedom. You break something you pay, not mum/dad.

"Lost Boys" Double meaning. A classic vampire movie of the 80's with a different take on youth gangs, vampires, and grandparents.

There still hasn't been any moment for me. Of course things do happen slowly, but I never notice them. Like the new people in the CCC asking me stuff for instance, just cause I act like I live here. Like I joined two months before you. Like teaching pre-apprentices and kids and adults occasionally. Like finding I am not actually visiting my friends, but their kids. Etc. But still don't feel any different.

I didn't know anything about cosplaying when I was at school. Man, am I THAT old?

However for Mufti Day, I have went in:

- Pajamas
- Blood Soaked Corpse* on Halloween
- My School Uniform, HORRENDOUS SKANK STYLE. The ones of you who know what I'm like, you may laugh not.

_
*My teachers LOVED it. So much that one ran off to get me lollies. Rumour has it though, we had changed our school rules because the admins hated it so much, anything like that were writtin into school rules as BANHAMMERED. Don't know if it's real though.

ugh, that reminds me of my intermediate. They banned people wearing hoodies and sweat bands 'cause it promoted being in a gang. Of course no one took any ntice so they didn't have one if term four.

Seriously though, all my warm tops were hoodies.
'twas very lame. But so was that school.

I second that so hard. I just loved the argument of "but schools with uniforms do well!" Um well DUH, consider that a kilt is like 400+ each, the people who can afford to go to schools with uniform probably have lines and lines of tutors spoon feeding them everything.

*cringe* My school was a public one nonetheless. So much for "we take all students in the zone". More like "if you are not rich, we'll use the uniform loophole to exclude you".

O_O banning HOODIES. That's like the only thing youngters wear. Patch or bandana I can understand, hoodies now that's just silly.
