Got a creepy/disturbing experience when cosplaying?

Totally got this off coscom~ Huhu~
Hm. So. I have a few~
This is from Auckland Armageddon 2007 XD;

I cosplayed as movie! Misa ('cause, I had black hair and wigs are expensive~ huhu) last year. But I wasn't wearing anything skimpy. Sure, I wore a skirt - but it wasn't that short and I wore stockings. It was mid afternoon and I was outside with my other cosplaying friends and this old guy in his mid 40's to 50's came up and approached me. He looked like a bum, seriously, but he had a really nice professional looking camera. He asked me if he could take some photos. So I said 'Okay' but I felt really uneasy and I stared at my closest friend and she gave me a look that reflected how I felt. But what he did next was.... strange to me. I guess. He laid on the floor and took photos from there. I know some photographers do that to get good angles, but I felt he wasn't taking pictures of me but of my legs and up my skirt. I felt truly uncomfortable. I waited until he finished (he took about 10 photographs) and he thanked me and I thanked him and he walked away. Im so polite D: I still don't know whether or not he took pictures of me or of my undies :/ I think my friend said that she felt like he was violating me or something and wanted to stop him? I can't remember but I knew she was being protective of me afterwards.
Before that, I was on stage participating in the kamehameha contest (lol DBZ <3) and these huge group of teenage boys started wolf whistling, cheering and clambered/scrabbled to the front of the stage trying to look up my skirt. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry XD; Though I think i was upset 'cause I hid behind my friend and moved further backstage.
I WASN'T EVEN WEARING ANY REVEALING CLOTHES. SERIOUSLY. XD I had like, a huge black and white striped overshirt and a grey long sleeved shirt.
Ask JVCA, Aura, Aurellion, Berry and anybody who saw me last year on the Saturday. >0>

I think I had a few more bad experiences with silly people in my Kagome outfit at Auckgeddon 2005 but I don't think I remember. 2005 seems such a long time ago XD But iunno. I don't remember~ Huhu. Lol so young. Though. I did get lots of 'AWWW~ SO cuuute!!! >A<!!'
'Cause. You know. Its Tammy at 12 years old? ;D (Though, I was skinny then, not so much now. Quite chubby~ DAMN PUBERTY)

Anyways, I usually cosplay as male characters (crossplay ftw), so these incidents make me rethink on whether I should cosplay as girl characters~ Haha~ NO more SKIRTS.

So Tammy says but she's cosplaying as Kagome (again, yes) and Pikachu (WHOM BOTH SHALL HAVE SHORTS UNDERNEATH D<)

Seriously, though. That guy was so creepy.

We were walking down Queen st., and he just came out of nowhere and started asking Sexybeastwhoisjustamazinglycreative&wonderful&justgoddam what was with her eye, and asking for her teddy... We walked away, but he followed us!

And then he started saying something about how it was all part of something, and... Yeah.

FREEEAKY.

lol, thats like the fun day out thingy where this homeless guy wonders up to someone (cant remember who, either Duck-eh or chibi) and is like

"OI! Im Gay!! You got a problem with that!!?"
and she is like.... "Erm.... noo?"
and hes like "Oh, ok then" *wonders off*

but yeah, old perverted photographer guy is a tad bit like, WTF?
I mean, sure, I probably qualify as perverted old guy, but you are obviously a tad bit underage. No offense, but height + chibi, you do look a bit young.
Some ppl need a bitchslap.

As for teenage boys, well, as long as it doesent get ugly, I guess you could take it as a compliment - they must have thought you were cute...

I got groped by a stormtrooper in my I-no costume, but actually that just makes me awesome. I also found out one of my exes had a bit of "fun" over pictures of me in cosplay. And they were NOT "that kind" of photo. Creepy to the mu'fu'ing maxx. Luckily he was a bit of a freak, so no harm done 'cept maybe some dry-retching every now and then.

Also, Tammy: when wearing short skirts, it is always a good idea to write something offensive on your granny underpants. Eg: "IF YOU CAN READ THIS I F***ED YER MUM" or something similar.

Some really creepy photographer guy came to our picnic and started taking photos while sitting on the ground. It was really scary ...

Normally, we get strage comments like these when in town with two of my friends who always dress in lolita. Yesterday someone said "SHEMAN!". Seriously, some people are puthetic :/

Yeah, that'd be the guy that wanted to interview for a newspaper article and contacted Madja after the picnic, in the end someone had already contacted the paper and found out it was too late for submissions, so some people turned up to the cafe in the library, met with him (with a few manly men acting as bodyguards for all the damsels Razz

), and yeah, then basically talked to him for a bit and that was it. He was also apparently from Auckland. Somewhat overweight and dressed rather erm. roughly. I've probably got his name in my emails somewhere.

@ jpwise, That guy sounds like the guy that randomly hovered around the Lolita picnic at the begining of the year with a camera, generally making us all uncomfortable. He didn't take photos or anything, coz he did ask us permission, but it was a bit awkward as we didn't know who he was...

@Kitten, that thing with the drunk guy happened to the girl standing next to me. I feel really bad but I can't remember her name. He was standing right behind me, and man he reeked of alcohol O.o

I remember leaving ChchGeddon saturday afternoon and walking down to the bus exchange to get a bus home. even gave me wary looks because i had a proper pistol holster attached to my belt with a pistol inside. then my little bro who was with me at the time pulled it out and started playing with it. fortunately on sunday i had my Hades prop instead and i didn't have the police sweep down on me.

In my Hilda costume at Chchgeddon08, I had quite a short dress on, like, you could see the bit where my suspenders for my stockings joined onto my underneath-corset thing, and I'm not, like, huge, but I'm not a small girl, so it didn't look that remarkable on me, and this guy came up to me when I was sitting down, nursing a broken foot, and said "Your costume...it looks so much nicer when you're sitting down" grinned, took a picture, and then winked and walked off. It was creepy. Eh. No more short dresses....Until next time. Lol.
