| This was more funny than creepy (well I laughed)
At the Sakura Fest, I was cosplaying as Syaoran (in my avatar) cause it wasn't a proper convention most of the people wouldn't have heard of cosplay, me and the friends had quite a few people ask for photos and I had a few older women, like 35-50 hold me (put their arm over my shoulder etc), then one of them said "thanks for the photo~" then double pats me on the butt!
I think they mistook me for an actual male ^^; (crossdressing skills ftw~ XD) |

Also, Tammy: when wearing short skirts, it is always a good idea to write something offensive on your granny underpants. Eg: "IF YOU CAN READ THIS I F***ED YER MUM" or something similar. Write "Property of Captain Jack Sparrow" on the ass of your tight tight Norrington trousers for your Sparrinton cosplay, however, and will the judges lol so much that they make a point of calling you back up on stage after your 'skit' to have you show your ass to the 1000s strong audience. Next year, they tell me I they were half-expecting me to write something on the ass of my Sweeney cosplay. I'd completely forgotten about it, but THE JUDGES remember my ass clearly.
That's my dose of creepy. |

| Ah, I remember walking down the street in the city with a friend and then these teenage males were like, "Hey, are you 18?". That was scary. We said "no" and they left us alone. Bet you they wanted us to buy alcohol. We weren't 18 anyways.
If Socky was there with me on Sat during Auckgeddon weekend, then it'll be a cosplay related experience. |

| Haha! Well, I freaked out a Kakashi cosplayer before. He was really good, while eating at the food courts. I saw him with his mask on and I was just like O/// - \\\ O. Cause he looked really hot! I asked for some pictures and a hug from him along with Lee x3 Man, awesome experience. Tried to pay my guy friend 20$ to take a picture while he was in the bathroom. Didn't work out though -.-.. Well! At the end, I creeped him out, the 41928th time I tried to say hi to him. He was gone already ._... |

| Most of mine come from Tess: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=636680073&ref=name#/photo.php?pid=4192418&id=636680073 (lol, wonder why). Most are from guys snapping photos from above down my top, or just grabbing cellphone pics (seriously, guys, it's cosplay, I CAN pose if ya want. >3). I also had one kid at Christchurch sit beside me and chat to me. He was young and loved the games, and when I mentioned that I wished I had lost more weight to cosplay her, he said in the sweetest voice 'oh, you're not THAT fat' (as in, you're fine, just a little chubby!) He meant well, but the guy's got a way to go before he talks to the ladies!
Also being followed behind by some Japanese students in One Piece cosplay. My Japanese fails hard, but it was obvious they were talking about me because I kept hearing 'Choppa', 'Tonakai' and 'Doctor'. Not so much disturbing as it was amusing to understand small things like that.
More on-topic, though not about myself...
Does anyone remember when Krista cosplayed the 'sexy cop' at Auckland Armageddon last year? Well, when we were frozen for the 3 minutes outside for the Grand freeze, some guy went up to her and tried to take photos under her skirt. >__>

Yeah, so not cool. Wow! Totally legitimate reason to break the freeze and break a nose right there! What an ass! D: Did he get away with it? |

I was just so shocked to hear someone had done that I didn't even think to ask her. XO Worst part is I bet she would have worried about breaking the effect of the freeze (I mean, how darn cool did it look in the end on those youtube vids?) It's shame there's always SOMEONE there who goes and spoils it all. |

| I was wandering around taking video of the freeze aswell, and by the sounds of it just at the point she was ready to break freeze and kick the guy he left.
From what I remember her saying it was definitely low angle, but obviously still far enough away she didn't kick him straight away. :/ |

| I heard that she almost broke the freeze to kick him, but he went away just as she was about to. Now I can't even remember who told me this. I think it was Pyro xDD. Still, it must have been really creepy. Are we doing a freeze at Wellygeddon? Anyone know? I think there were talks about one ... |

| hmmmm I had one last year at Auckgeddon. After I ate lunch with my friends while we were waiting for the elavator to go upstairs, these random guys were wolf whistling at us. I thought it was for my friend because she was in her awesome costume 'Sasuke' XD so I walked on, they kept wolf whistling at us and then my friend was like it's for you, I turned around and they waved at me. I kinda forgot that I was in a schoolgirl costume >< |

| OKAY. REVIVING THIS THREAD.
Well most of you know that I cosplayed Yoko from Gurren Lagann this Wellygeddon. I realised that I would be getting some VERY unwanted attention, but I went ahead with it anyway because I had friends to hang out with and I wasn't going to be left alone and raped or anything like that. Now, of course there had to be a FEW creeps at 'geddon.
The first one off the top of my head was a dark skinned caucasian man in a Star Trek uniform who stopped me multiple times. The first time, he stopped me and asked me who I was dressed as. I told him. There was a silence as his gaze dropped towards my bust line. I was about to sort of trek off and then he FINALLY went "...I hope you're entering tomorrow." which his eyes still on my boobs.
Now I wouldn't have minded so much if he hadn't made it so creepily blatant. >______>
He stopped me Sunday as well as I was in Pikachu and said stuff like "Well you look like YOU'RE ready to go." (worst pick up line EVER) and "Oh all these people dressed in yellow!"
He wasn't as bad as the guy outside while we were all taking photos. As everyone else was taking photos, he was taking them with his PSP, his camera, his camera phone... And then he finally asked for a picture with me and being courteous and all I said "Sure" because I figured he would just want to stand next to me while I posed.
BUT NO.
He handed his camera phone to Pura, stood BEHIND me and pressed me SO DAMN UNCOMFORTABLY CLOSE that I could feel something sticking into my back.
Excuse me now whilst I bleach my mind. |

I TOUCHED HIS PHONE
... Which is no where near as bad as what touched you ...
He had a REALLY girly voice. It made me laugh inside.
I talked to the creepy Startreck guy too, but I s'pose because I wasn't dressed skimpishly that he was only frinedly to me ... |

One part cracking up laughing, one part grossed out - he is an insult to perverts everywhere... And one part jealous... But really, bad behavior is bad (makes the rest of us look bad!). |
