Meet-up Possibility?

Sewing weekend sounds good.

Remember I have to pay train-fare. D: So going into town for a couple of hours is not a good way to manage my money. (BTW, SO glad I dropped Lal. I actually feel like I'm going to get my cosplays done on time now 8D)

I'm also procrastinating. Hurm. >_______>

Then, uh ... Saturday meet-up and afterwards come to my house, bring sewing stuff (you can dump in my car so you don't have to carry it through town), stay the night and sew from the night, sleep, and then carry on on Sunday? And Mel can come over on Sunday~ (She's always busy Saturdays). And then we get Katie and Gyusle to come too, because they both have cosplays to sew too xDD.

I should stop procrastinating .___. BUT I DON'T WANT TO DO ART. It's Desiiiign. It's booooring.

I painted Colonello's pacifier today though xDD. I might get off the computer and sew Colo's pocket things soon.

I still need to buy material for everything else DDDDDDDDx
I'm doomed .___.

And in the weekend. I started my hat. It is now finished. I work better in a group when I know that the time is for cosplay not computering xDDD.

Food, I don't really care what. I don't eat out a lot so the only places I've eaten in town have been at Courtney place food court.

Us cosplayers have got kicked out of Courtenay Food place though 8D;;;;;
And Borders ... twice 8D;;;

But we weren't eating in Readings, only taking photos, so if we actually eat there, then it should be fine. And not use wheelchairs improperly ...

Yeahh ... We had a cosplay picnic that day, but it was in the middle of winter, so it was raining, so we decided to meet at Readings instead of Frankitts. And we had about thirty people there, and Panini had cosplayed Rufus from Advent Children so he had the wheelchair, and when the lady saw we were:

1. Taking photos (not allowed apparently ...)
2. Not eating their food and only our own food
3. Improperly using a wheelchair

she told us all to leave xDDD.

It was really funny. Specially the fact that Panini had a wheelchair ... He tricked people the entire day with that thing xDDD.

If we walk up from the bottom end of the terrace, it's not a very big walk. Steep, but not big xD.

Okay, I find that total bull. We've taken tons of photos in there over the past few years, never a problem. It's also a public place and we weren't in any store taking photos of products or the like.

I think it was mainly due to people switching around in the wheelchair and riding it down the wheelchair ramp...that and the mass group of cosplayers just wierds some people out (and yet, in Wellington, seeing Blanketman, the lady with the full army camo gear ect is nothing unusual Razz

).

Bu...bu...BORDERS?!? What on earth was done to kick out out of there? (lol, I remember doing sneaky-sneaky photos in the manga section once, but that doesn't count since we didn't get caught!)

So what does everyone think of this plan:
Meet up outside BK on Lambton Quay at 11:30-ish, have lunch, then head off to the Gardens.
