Meet-up Possibility?

So yeah, I'm not going to be able to stay long enough for Wellygeddon now after all. I was psyched for it and now I can't. I'm bummed I won't get to do HHY or the long Caramelldansen for it but what can you do right? My plane leaves the 22nd, and though I'm some what happy to go back to my cosplay group back home, I never got to do anything with any cosplayers here really.

Which brings me to the the question, would anyone be willing to do a small meet-up or something in Wellington before I go? I'm awful at planning things so if anyone has idea they can throw them out. I just want do something.

I am free Mondays, Fridays and weekends but I would have to know ahead of time sort of thing to plan for it and make sure my family isn't planning anything either.

Anyone got anything? If not that's fine, I'm good with stalking youtube for 'geddon videos. XD

EDIT: The meet-up with be March 21st (roughly) 11:30am in front of borders. Cosplay is optional but preferred. See you there!

Weekend because school is on on Mondays and Fridays. And the days between xDD.

Cosplay would be fun if everyone's game. I only have my MoHS cosplay but it'd be fine. I guess then we should do a meet-up this weekend or we can do it next weekend. Which ever one people can go to.

I'm happy to go in cosplay, I'd like to get a bit more wear out of my older ones.

Any weekend is fine for me, but perhaps next weekend would be better so more people get the message?

I'm free most of the time, but this weekend I need to go see a movie with a friend (don't know what day/time - though I could easily do that after a meetup), and I need to visit my Nana at some point. And I need to finish cosplays >: A month is not enough >____

Yeah... I wanted to go to Wellygeddon for my birthday since it's like...the weekend after. Now I can't go to Sakuracon either. I lucked out on two cons. Just gotta make the most of it though.

So we want to plan for the weekend of the 21st?

I've only been in Wellington for a month myself so I don't know much about where we could go. But the botanical gardens was good fun at the meetup we had last year.

Yeah, Frankitts is the one near TSB Bank Arena.

Getting lunch in town then going to the gardens sounds nice.

It would be more fun in cosplay, but if the majority of people won't be able to do it then yeah skipping the cosplay part would be better.

Perhaps see what some other people think?

I worded that badly. I meant that if I'm panicking too much about cosplay that needs to be completed, I probably shouldn't go.

....speaking of which, I just remembered I have two MASSIVE internals due the week after. 8D Funny how I put cosplay before schoolwork.

This means I probably can't come~ D: I'm sorry! Tell you what, I'll work extra hard on cosplay AND school work but not so much school work and hopefully I'll be able to make it.

Maybe make cosplay optional?

You could just not spend as long at the gathering as other people. I should probablt focus on cosplays (I have ALOT more to sew than you do .____.)

And I have FOUR internals due the week before or after Armageddon =___=
I am not impressed. It's annoying. I have so much to do that it's rediculous. And I'm on the computer procrastinating. OHSHI. I don't think I'll finish anything Dx.

Raanii, cosplay as Pikachu out and I'll try and finish Jolteon in time and we came be pokemanzz 8D.
