IF IT DIDN'T HAVE WINGS.

Does anyone know where I can buy mass amount of white feathers without them being $$$$$$$$28638245823423674238444351234$$$

Also, what methods are there to make them ?__?

AND
It's for Wellygeddon, and need to go on a plan to get there, would they let me on the plane with a massive box with wings inside??

If they where like 2X2meters long per wing, Packed on top of eachother in a box or something? Would they be sweet with it? Plus im going to AUCK>CHRISTCHURCH

UMM i think its something like 20$ per extra KG but not really sure XDXD

I would say to make the wings the same way im doing my Angewomon wings but its really alot more work then needed <<

I'd say create each wing in two or three peices that clip or slot together, then just get bubble wrap bags for traveling.

theyre friggin massive, so I need to make them, in multiple peices? but wouldnt have a clue how.

Well I found many tutorials on how to make wings but it really depends on what you want

If you want them to open a shut then this one, it also explains on how to do the feathers

Hope that helps ^^ I haven't made any of these myself but I am hoping to make a pair of wings possible using the second method since it seems somewhat simpler

$2 shop feather boa's is a handy source for things that aren't feathers, but look kinda like them... Or start beach combing. You'll find feathers and maybe some ambergris that you could sell to finance the rest of the costume! Very Happy

Of course the feathers will probably be dirty, but you can clean them up without damaging them.

$2 feather boas are 4-6$ though D;< They're just too damn fluffeh.
I want the wings to look like feathery wings, not like a shaved my neighbours cat and glued the fur to cardboard 8(

and the feathers on the beach have aids! and they usually arn't white!

idk, i don't see why wings always /have/ to be made out of feathers... in that cap they don't even look feathery, it's just that we always assume they are.

if i were making them, i'd rather do them out of foam or something and texture them with paint or sth

The paper wings idea is indeed not a bad idea, not a bad idea at all!

Reams of computer paper are pretty cheap if you get the crappy stuff, try looking at the Stationery Warehouse or something and suss out the cost. Because paper wings would be SO FREAKIN' SWEET.

Make sure to use good quality glue though otherwise you'll run the risk of dicolouring the paper or causing it to rip or not stick at all.

Just let the staff at the air port know you have it, as at check in what you should do about it, if I remember right you should just have to let the people at customs check ins know what it is otherwise they search your bag to find out. Wings won't be too hard.
