| They have 'a horse with no name' but it's not very good. I highly doubt they'll have a second one though...sadly... |

| Horse with no name was a bit of a disappointment. I loved the series right to the end, though. <3 Have any of you guys read Eternal Sabbath? (Another series by the same author - Soryo Fuyumi) |

Re: Cosplay Events brainstorm By Kori123. 18/11/08, 08:56 pm |
| Yeah. I use to read them online but if you read from an unreliable source you get a bad translation that ruins everything. I read Fruits Basket online to the end and when I got it in book form, it was completely different. Same with vampire knight, so I stopped. |

Apparently you have to play the games first Noooo. No you don't. Not at all.
First is .hack//SIGN, and that's an anime. Then there's the first lot of .hack games (set about two years after SIGN?), then there's .hack//Legend of the Twilight (also set about two years after the games), and then FIRE, and pretty much a new 'World' made, which starts with the .hack//ROOTS anime (which is crap, IMO), and then set six months later is .hack//GU (best .hack anything! >D).
So, really, you don't need to have played any of the games to see the anime. None of them connect apart from ROOTS and GU, but you don't NEED to see the ROOTS anime, but it would help, otherwise you might be a little confused xD.
But NZ doesn't sell .hack//GU anyway ;__;
*has them nonetheless*
Oh yeah, and there are a few manga series.
.hack//Lengend of the Twilight Bracellet is for the same anime one, but things are changed around a bit.
.hack//Another Birth is the first four games as a novel version, but from a different character's POV.
.hack//xxxx is a non-cannon version of the games as a manga, and .hack//AI Buster is just a bunch of random story revolving around the first World, and .hack//GU+ is a manga version of the games, but kinda crap xD. But really easy to read xD. No speach bubbles! xD. ... I am not obsessed D: |
