also, okonomiyaki is the signature food of the city that i lived in in japan, hiroshima. they have little cafes there where you can make your own- they give you a bowl of ingredients and you just do your thing.

also, there was a little okonomiyaki shop behind my host family's house & it was very cute. called tomato. :>

I have question! Where in Dunedin and CHCH do you meet up to go on the minivan??? And the place we're staying is like cabins so you bring sleeping bag?

The camp option fell through (completely booked out), we're in the final stages of sorting out a new venue. The new venue will basically be a hall, so sleeping bag will be required, on the upside it's basically in town, and apparently walking distance to the caroline bay carnival.

Final details, etc are still being sorted. Seraphik & IcyRose would be the best people to talk to about the Dunedin side. Aura & Riven about the ChCh side.

well, i tried to book a defensive driving course but the next one is in late jan so that puts a lid on me driving anybody, or coming up myself probably.

I can't help either with transport since I'm coming up via bus to Chch for Christmas and then taking the bus home from Timaru in the afternoon.
