yeah we've got a ps2 comming, but no ps3.

SUPER SMASH BROS!? Holy crap I would give so much to play someone who isn't my brother or my one friend who has it! I can bring a Wii and Brawl if desired if everyone promises to be not ass-hyper and kill it. (Our controllers are wired, so any excessive merriment is a death sentence).

Edit: Woops, didn't read Lavi's post. Do you have 4 GCN controllers for it? If needed we can bring a couple. Wow another Wii-er- SWEET. Does the Wii have any LANing capabilities at all? xD

Uh, so in? xD That'll be me and my brother, Michael, who a few have met.

Edit again: So with the anime sharing (since my brother and I are so desperate it's pathetic), if we have our whole computer there (will there be CoD4 etc LAN play?) are we just gonna use filesharing to send it through the ethernet(?) connection? Because Amanda said something about an external drive, which would be slightly difficult for us to procure..

No I have no working GCN controllers anymore, AHHH BRING THEM PLEASE =D.

The wii has no lan as far as I know, only online play.

Sure thing! We only have one official one and one third-party elephant of a controller, but I can probably wrassle another.

I agree, the Wiimote is rather unintuitive for Smash. xD At least, it's not very comfortable for people who haven't spent hours mastering it.

I play Zero Suit mainly, but also Pika on occaision.

Oh, is your Brawl a PAL version? Because we imported from America and our online service is.. beyond shocking. We've had about 4 random battles, and they mostly lagged to some degree, and we can only do FC matches within Australasia. We're a little worried that it's because we have the American version. Have you had any online experience with the NZ/Aus version?

My Brawl is PAL
I haven't noticed all that much lag, but there's lag spikes every now and again.

Yeah, swords are the best ;D
There is no Meta-love to be found in me, best look elsewhere.
I'd rather not play using Creepy Sword-holding Ball man.

Oh wow, so you can actually get random battles? Guess it's time for us to trade it along. xD That extra month was worth it though.

He may be creepy and disturbingly ball-shaped, but my other Brawl friend has started using him and man is he one annoying beyotch. His recovery is nuts!

I love that aspect about Brawl though- everyone has their own characters that suit their style. My brother's all about the space animals and for some reason, Lucario. xD Oh and Marth, but everybody loves Marth and his counter.

Ike has pretty awesome recovery too ^-^
I took a pretty huge break in playing when I got GTA so I still suck quite a bit :/

My other brawl friend uses Meta-knight too. His recovery can be VERY annoying.

Hey Kate, glad to have you an Michael aboard :)

Bob is going to bring some Game controller controllers, but if you could bring your two as well, we'll have enough for 4players.

We will have CoD4 games, we had a few matches last time and before that. With regard to anime sharing, all you need is your computer and some free space on which to store anime, we'll take care of the rest, we'll be running a sharing network via ethernet.

Unfortunately I've been pretty sick the last week. It's going now but I don't think I can make it Friday night as a relapse would pretty much kill me. When's a good time to come Saturday? Whenever?

Oh excellent, I will have the advantage! Actually even against a whole bunch of sleep-deprived guys, I'd still fail. And I don't mean that in a cute "I'm just being modest but really I'll kick your ass" way- I'm such a muddle with controllers. xD I love the mash.
