I was first a little bit suspicious of them because neither voted Rengen. A bit of a lame reason, I know, but hear me out.

If we take a working hypothesis that MM and Lumissne are both scum, what do we get? We get a nice picture where one (MM) says something about Lumissne sounding 'forced cheerful' or something like that. She could be saying this to cover them being mafia together - she wants to get rid of any suspicion of them working together. That's what I'd do if I were mafia with someone, at least.

But there is one thing thing that strikes me as odd with this hypothesis. And that is this: Rengen replied to MM's 'forced cheerful' statement which suggests she wasn't in on the trick, if the trick even existed and is not just a figment of my imagination.

But even if Lumissne and MM aren't in mafia buddies, I'm still suspicious of MM. She seems to be overly nit-picky. I don't know if that's just her play-style or something, but it's making me a bit suspicious of her, nonetheless.

I dunno about Lumi, tbh. I was fairly convinced she was town by her (very strong) hinting that she was a member of team NORA - and we know now that team NORA /is/ in the game.

I didn’t vote for XOrengenOX for the same reason I didn’t vote for Peterofl, because I wasn’t suspicious of her. In hindsight I was wrong about rengen, but right about Peter.
Because I wasn’t particularly suspicious of either of the people most discussion was about I looked at everyone else Lumissne was just one of them.
If you call this overly nit-picky then yes it is my play style, since I like to do something more than just posting if I am or am not suspicious of someone.

@Alex, fair point, except that it's a nice fake claim, too. She never once stated WHO she was in NORA - a very nice fake claim because no one can go and say 'hey man, I'm that guy', because her claim was very ambiguous.

That's... true. xD But honestly I don't think she'd do that. Not as someone who isn't theme literate, anyway. It wasn't really a claim though - she was using her role to verify the validity of another's... xP

Hmmm, I don't know. I'm still a bit suspicious of her - she could've just looked up 'Team NORA' on Wikipedia, after all and then based her claim around that.

It's true Lummissne hasn't claimed a character, but neither did Phlaming Phoenix-.
I thought it could have been a good fake claim as well until the night story suggests that atleast one member of team NORA is in this game, if one member here it makes sense for them all to be here.
Since there are three members of NORA and three people Claiming to be a member of NORA so I don't feel the need to hammer them about it at this stage.

Just a quick thought - I don't see "I am hinting that I am a town side with wink winks" is ever a pro-town move right in the beginning. If the hinter is a Mafia, then it acts as a smoke screen against the townies even though all the Mafia knew. If the hinter is not Mafia, all they do is drawing out the actual potential power roles. Might as well claim.

Yes, this is relevant to the playing of one particular player that caught my attention.

Probably RMD. I don't really suspect anyone at this point, but I don't want the day to end in a no lynch, and I'm not getting a scumvibe from PP for leading this charge.

Also this comment makes me think XOrengenOX was attempting to distance herself from RMD.

I'm reluctant to lynch RMD right now, as her behaviour right now is suspicious, but also very similar to other games. I'd rather wait to see her response before lynching.

Alright,

All my computers are dead. yay.
I am currently on a computer at Uni and should really be doing work rather than on CNZ.
But I thought I would drop in to say I HAVE NO COMPUTER and hence it will be mighty difficult for me to actively participate in discussion.
I apologise for this. I still would like to play in this game though.

Anyway, as for your question there MM, RMD strikes a nerve but she usually does. While I wouldn't mind placing a vote on her, I think there are bigger fish to fry. The problem is lack of evidence.. And far too much gut for my liking. While gut is a good reason to start probing, it is not good enough to lynch after day one.

I will be checking the thread a couple times before now and friday, and if it comes to nearing a no-lynch I will place my vote on RMD.
