Okay so everyone seems to have summed up the night story.
I can't see anything I can add there.

With RMD I am still slightly suspicious of her from the way she jumped on Peters bandwaggon.

Hmmm I can see both points and I think arguing over it is going to have little effect since it hinges on scenarios that didn't play through.

Asking for a name MIGHT have lead to discussions over whether than was a good choice or not, in which mafia may have been given opportunities to manipulate.

HOWEVER being firm on a name only could have given information since anyone stirring to try and switch target would have been seriously looked at as likely mafia.

As such RMD being against Peter naming a target seems valid to me and doesn’t really add to my suspicion of her.

You were arguing against no one essentially. Arguing a different topic to the one that was being discussed. I don't know how many other ways I can say this.

@PP: I thought that there was a discussion going on about it actually because as soon as you brought it up people began to voice their opinions on it and to either agree or disagree. I was one of those people, I simply stated what I thought on the matter, I did not realize that I was arguing about a topic or taking part in a discussion that supposdly didn't exist, I had not intended to turn into an agument but then again I tend to pretty vocal and aggressive at times, my bad.

So the second story part is about Snow protecting Lightning, but Lightning not wanting it, we think, right?
Why'd that be? Roleblock?

It's a bit strange. Why would Lightning not want to be protected? Am I missing something? ;;

Canonically Lightning and Snow don't exactly get along...

Lightning thinks Snow is foolish and tries to hard to be a hero, and then Snow goes and proposes to Lightning's sister and Lightning also blames Snow for Serah's becoming a L'Cie Crystal...

I don't see any roleblock. I'm guessing the doctor was just unable to protect the cop as part of the setup. Which works for making it more vanilla, and fits canonically.

Although your hypothesis makes sense, it is a little bit odd. SGB said that the game would be 'a simple set-up' or something along those lines. It strikes me as a bit odd that Snow just can't doc Lightning for story reasons... especially with SGB's 'simple set-up' statement.

Yeah, it's also possible that originally the doc was going to be able to protect the cop but then Axel read Greg's posts about his idea of a simple setup and changed it at the last minute.

In a vanilla setup (as we appear to have), having a cop and a doctor is broken. UNLESS the doctor cannot protect the cop, then it is just town-weighted. Maybe that was intentional, or maybe it was retconned after the game start - but the point is moot now, isn't it? I don't see a roleblock in any of that.

Alrighty.
Not really assuaging my suspicions so far.
But before I go on I would like to hear from others on RMD.
I think I asked before what people thought of her, but I will ask again.
Namely I would like to have Zeo's opinion at the moment. Have heard very little from him, and while I know he is busy, an opinion would be appreciated :)

I don't think Axel's the kind of guy who changes his setup in that manner - he'd just stick with what he had, not matter what anyone says.

When it comes to RMD, I'm unsure - During games I'm usually quite suspicious of her because of her general play style.

Unless being facetious is a post restriction, I doubt that is anything but Zeo being a little bit strange. I wouldn't expect a post restriction in a round like this anyway, really.

Zeo likes to stir things up in interesting ways and I think that is what he is doing here.

I am watching what Zeo is doing, rather than watching him because I am suspicious of him.

I too noticed Zeo acting a bit silly but I figured it was just Zeo being Zeo. Razz

I don't really find him to be all that suspicious but like most people I am keeping a wary eye on him as I find him interesting to say the least.

I had them, and now they are gone. I read back over the thread in one of my breaks to try and re-grasp them but they no longer seemed as convincing really. I guess I un-convinced myself, even if RMD's posts failed to. Don't get me wrong, I am still very suspicious of her, however now it is just a general feel of her posts rather than solid evidence. Until I find some I will leave this particular case alone.

@Zeo: Elaborate why I wan't you to say something? Well for a start, you signed up for this game. Or perhaps you wanted me to elaborate why I thought you didn't give a sugar honey iced tea, maybe its cos you haven't posted anything. Or maybe you wanted me to elaborate on my last sentence.
