1 - Voting
You may cast one vote per day. Votes must be in BOLD or will not be counted. This helps to keep things more official and to prevent any arguments. EG: VOTE: [USERNAME] and then UNVOTE: [USERNAME] if you wish to change your vote. Please use a full username - no abbreviations, no nicknames, no real names.
1.1 - You may choose to also make a NO LYNCH vote (also needs to be in bold). If you vote a no lynch then you may not post for the rest of the day phase, except to change to REMOVE NO LYNCH.
1.2 - If a majority (half living players + 1) vote is reached, day will turn into night.

2 - Illegal Discussion
Do not discuss the game outside of the game thread without express permission from me, either in your role PM or by other means. If you have been permission to talk about the game outside of the thread (such as the mafia members), all conversations must either be CC'd to me if done via. PM's, or a group conversation on Windows Messenger (I would prefer these to be honest, but if you don't have it, don't worry.) This continues to apply after you're killed and until the game is over. If I catch you at it, you will be punished.
2.1 - Not so much a rule, as a tip - if you can communicate with someone - do it! Two heads are better than one, you can get help with things like defending yourself by getting your partner(s) to double check your posts before you read them.

3 - Editing
No post editing or deleting ever, at all.

4 - Limbo
Only current, living players may post in this game. Others will have to wait until the next round. Others can however post in the limbo thread, which will be made after the first night.

5 - Roles
Do not quote your role or any other PMs from me. To do so will result in automatic modkill. You're free to claim your role/character, if you wish, and to paraphrase a PM from me, but it might not be so wise, as it may persuade people to target you. Posting a screenshot of your PM, though you may find it so very hard to believe, is the same as quoting it.
5.1 - If you feel the need to post a PM from me, check with me first please.
5.2 - You are supposed to act as yourself, not as the character you have been assigned. This makes it too obvious who you are. The theme/premise just gives an enjoyable, interesting background to the game.

6 - Activity
Active contributions must be made towards the game. As such, posts must contain more than a lynch vote or just non-game talk.
6.1 - Any player who fails to post within a 36 hour RL period (without notifying the GM in advance of your absence) will be replaced or modkilled.
6.2 - While a degree of off-topicness will be tolerated, please try and keep conversation about the game.
6.3 - Saying you have nothing to contribute does not count as an active contribution to the game, and as such, will not refresh the 36 hour limit of game related posting.

7 - Temporary Leave
If you anticipate being unavailable for more than 36 hours, please post a notification in the thread (better yet, send me a PM). Please treat this game as a semi-serious commitment to the other players and contribute regularly.

8 - Permanent Leave
If you are unable to continue playing for some reason you must PM me so that I can find a replacement. You are not excused from playing until a replacement is found, unless of course you will be away from the internet.
8.1 - When asking to be replaced, you better have a bloody good reason. It's not fair of you to decide that you want replacing because you don't like a certain part of the game, or don't want to face the lynches. Don't like theme? Then why did you sign up in the first place?

9 - Questions
If you have any questions, let me know ASAP, especially if you have been given an important role or have a night action. I will try to answer your questions to the best of my ability.
10.1 - No, you may not have another role.
10.2 - Your signing phrase is just to include the number you chose in the sign-up thread in your first post, whether it be '2' or 'two', as long as it's there.
