Matt wig progress:

I think I'll need to trim the sides a bit more, and thin out the fringe a little, but otherwise I think I'm pretty happy with it. (The base wig is amazing. I styled it entirely with a hairdryer. JUST A HAIRDRYER. But then I sprayed it just to make sure it wouldn't fall out of shape in the Wellington winds. |D)

I just sewed the crotch of one pantleg to the ankle of the other. I was SUPPOSSED to be sewing the two crotch ends to each other. *sigh*

Progress for the night ...

Mock-up of skirt & top finalized. Fabric washed and dried. Sleeve mockup started and given up on till ive had some sleep

Ive just put a layer of masking tape over the entirety of the spine. Ive partially paper mache'd it. Need to make some big pointy spine bits.

Finally I have come close to finishing my wig for Van. I am wondering if it still needs cutting shorter on top? Maybe some sort of thinning is required.

@Roy mustang: Looks good! My only advice would be to put it into reletively defined spikes like his? It tends to look more cartoony than realisitic, depends what you're after. And add the peak on the hairline too maybe?

I think the shorter you cut it the more obvious the natural gaps of the wig will show. So I would be tempted not to thin it too much. My personal opinion only.

I finally have some progress!! I re glued my heart brooch that partially came apart in the Earthquake, on wednesday I'm picking up the rest of the gold bias form the Courier place by the airport and sometime tonight I have to work out the meaurements I need to buy fabric and trim when I go to Wellington on Thursday.
