Out skit can be 3 minutes max, and the karaoke is 5:26, so we'll have to cut it down some.

Found out that I must partake in (Chinese) New Year's celebrations this Thursday, so I am unavailable on that day. Also, I'm going to.... er.... somewhere on Wednesday. (My parents are awesome at explaining things to me)

Other days should be fine for me.

Doodling in the imhappy smiley face is easy; troll faces make me want to cry. :C

Unless you meant that it would look better if I stuck the smiley onto her face instead of drawing it? (I'm sure I'm not being very clear with this)

Unless the Warehouse Stationery does cheap colour printing (and if I can find a suitably hi-res picture), I'm probably just going to stick with painting the cardboard cut-out.

i was picturing LIFE SIZE cardboard cut out.......... like just print out ~~LARGE~~ picture of Rin and stick to cardboard?....

^ The problem with printing is that I'm expecting it to be kinda pricey, plus I'm not too sure I'll find her picture with a decent enough resolution so that it won't come off as being pixelated and looking terrible.

... And don't worry, cardboard-Rin will be life-sized. ;D

and yeaaa printing will be quite a bit............. what if you printed out A3 pieces of Rin and pieced her together? Or you could print it out in black & white or lineart and colour her up then, it'd save time and there isn't much colour on her.

...only to realise it will be almost completely covered by a turban OTL

^& oh well, at least we have a Kaito wig lol (you need to help me cut the fringe on Hisame sometime :<)

Also was thinking it'll probably be harder to coordinate everyone now that school's back, so how about we make a private messageboard and discuss the skit there? That way it won't matter if people aren't there at the same time and all our ideas will be there for people to look back at.
If we can still have Skype chats though, since its good to bounce ideas off each other lol ~~though getting off topic is easy as well...~~
Also since Cacti's going on camp soon and we'd still need to record everything... Just if we leave it till midway through March that might be cutting it a little close, especially since Icarus is going down for ChCh Geddon so she'll be out for a a few days there, and we'll probably be doing last minute costume stuff orz

Reminder on props guys, should we do just one email and have everyone's props & Rin mentioned in there? and maybe ask them about the skit time, cause we're about 9ish people (Rin ttly counts, she has a role in this 8D;; )
I was thinking if we can't finish all the props right now (not expecting anyone too, don't worry) that we can atleast check that the materials we use on these props will be ok with the judges.

So maybe when everyone has a good estimate of the dimensions of their props and the materials used for it to make it.

I'm doing Len's sword out of wood.

The thickness of the wooden stick things are 15mm x 8mm. They're used as fillers for edges around doors & windows etc. They can be snapped with a bit of force but reaally sturdy when doubled. (and the hot glue makes it even stronger.)

All together around 200-300g atm. The length is 90cm (Len's sword isn't that long.) But I'll still email just in case.

Also, if anyone needs me to make their props for them I'm willing to help out~

ohgod realised whilst eating dinner that geddon is in just over a month /panic panic panic

Um Meiko's sword is about 110cm I think? I'll double check it though, seems way longer but I'm sure that's what I had when sizing it.
Ugh, Spotlight sucks at restocking, Wellington STILL doesn't have any black bias in the width I need so I'll need to get out to Porirua sometime. Why does Golding's only have satin bias >_<

umm miku's staff is going to be just over 6ft i think............... was planning on using either lightweight wood of pvc piping for rod and either reinforced cardboard or thing plywood for top, depends if i can use the stencil or not (power tools >.<)
