@Hannah- that sale cosplay doesnt include gakupos totally bitchin' gauntlet/glove/katar things, for which i purchased purple vinyl specifically!

I have begun working slowly on this (I don't think I've ever begun so early on a costume), cut up my hands white unpicking leather skirts in hope of having peices large enough to make my top out of today, thankfully I got what I wanted.

I have the perfect pattern for Rin's dress and the right fabric, I think I might start tommorow~ And maybe make her neckless. My wig is ordered too, although I'll need to cut and style it. ~~Hopefully it won't turn out the wrong colour/length like last time~~

I have a couple of ideas for the script, but I think I'll wait until everyone confirms~

^This pretty much. Need to work more on my pattern for Meiko then I can buy fabric. Going to get more red stretch denim, the same as I used for Subaru. Its such an awesome colour and feels so nice <33

I'll be working on Teto soon~ And by 'working' I mean, trying to restyle my wig. THEM DRILL CURLS.

Also, guys - since Teto is dead pretty much all of the videos, and when she is shown for longer then about half a second (in otherwords when it's not Meiko's flashback) she has blood either dripping down her arm/face, should I also include that? Or should I just ignore it and go with the 'oh hey I wasn't brutally mauled by a dragon to death' look?

^I'd say no :> It could get annoying/rub off and might stain other people's costumes if you try and hug them lol.

Also on the drill curls, I saw a tutorial where someone wrapped the hair around the end of a cardboard toilet roll, pinned it then hairsprayed it to death. Could try that?

FOR CATERINA'S FRONT CURLS (since I didn't get the back ones done) I used hairspray cans/toilet rolls/cylindrical objects covered in gladwrap to get the shape. Using the ABSOLUTE STRONGEST kind of spray, I sprayed them into place, then hairdryed them, then repeated that over 9000 times, then pulled the cylinder out, leaving the curl on the glad-wrap. Afterwards, I carefully seperated it from the glad wrap, and then to get it to maintain a drill shape, I stitched each one together with thread that matched the wig fibers.

DON'T try to pull the cylinder out of the curl all at once, you'll just make the curl go straight again. If you use a non-heat proof wig, it'll stay in place better post-hairdrying. Use a cylinder the size of the largest curl in each fall, and then the rest'll naturally end up smaller when you remove the cylinder. Teto's hair will pretty much definitely need something bigger than a hairspray can/toilet roll to get the right size, fyi.

i'm trying to put of sewing the jacket until i get my Dressmakers dummy i want tailored ^.^
