I GOT MY LAPTOP TODAY. EFF YES.
Me and dad went to a couple stores to prices Toasters. YES! Would you believe, we went to buy a new toaster, and came back $2,500 poorer, laden with my laptop(Sony Vaio, the pretty green one!), a NetBook for him, a USB Key, and the guy threw in the toaster for free, just cos we're that awesome. xDDD

But, $2,500 down the track, I now have a laptop. ^-^ It was $1,830 or something like that. Heaps expensive. ;---; But I loves it already and I haven't even turned it on. Getting m4hiain to put stuff on it for me when I go to Christchurch for New Years. 8D

I'm such a spoiled rotten only child. XD;;;;

Their colour range is pretty interesting lately. The Neon Green that V used as a prize on their Evolution game, the Pink which is more Reddish, and the Bright Blue. I don't actually mind the blue one though.

It occurs to me that since it is now Christmas eve(and i am awake cross stitching for the first time in forever), my Dogs birthday is tomorrow. As dogs go, and as far as our expectations of her longevity were not so long ago, she is doing AWESOME. Her Perfect bill of health from the vet yesterday(except for her arthritis, which she has had for years, and her incurable case of OLD) was an excellent Christmas Gift to all of us, not just her.

It's my mom's birthday today.
At about 5am I'm making her 'coffee in bed,' as was her birthday wish.
Since I didn't get off the computer till after midnight it didn't seem to make much sense to go to bed, especially since I'd have to fix my alarm clock which is out of order atm due to a recent power outage.
*yawn* only one hour left...

ZOMGPONIES. But srsly. I'm using my new laptop in bed. AND IT FEELS GOOD. Tho it reminds me of when I was living with an annoying lady who was really.... up herself about her laptop and wouldn't let me use it or anything. I was without a computer for a good 5 months and I nearly went nuts. xD;;; I used to wait until she'd gone to bed and gone to sleep, then get up again, thief her laptop, go back to my room and play on it(cos I knew her password), then return it when I was done, exactly how it was. Then she changed the password and it sucked.

BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE. 8DDD I has my own laptop to use in bed now, and it feels aweome. ^-^
