@Casey- Haha okay. The way I see it with cosplay, if you're not comfortable showing skin, don't do it. Or don't complain.

Um so I had a dream last night that I was dating Yahtzee from Zero punctuation. Only I have no idea what he looks like, or what his real name is, or in fact how old he is! I really know pretty much nothing about him outside of: He's good at talking really fast, is funny and has a pretty kick ass taste in gaming.

Overall it was a weird and confusing experience which left me feeling like an involuntary stalker. Stupid mind.

I just spent about 30 minutes tracing around nearly every round object in the house.

Ahh cosplay. At least now I have something that is hopefully the right size and shape to use for my pattern. sweatdrop

Let's see, I used a biscuit tin, tin of car wax, several bowls and plates, drink bottles, a large roll of masking time, cookie time bucket and various other random stuff. I finally settled on the roll of masking tape, seems about the size I need. This is to make Gwendolyn's headpiece as she wears what looks like a pair of giant headphones covered in feathers. sweatdrop

I got a 'How to Cosplay' book from geddon, and it has a section on the 2008 WCS comps. SDFJNFJJFSVFDSAJVNSNVOSINOFSOICV the runner up entries took 4-5 years to make their outfits, SERIOUSLY?? LIEK SERIOUSLY??
and lots of other competitors spent about $1000 each on their costumes! It's mind blowing cause it really doesn't look like it! They're not gundams or covered in armour, its really, just WOAH!

and then you see a section of japanese con cosplayers. Most of them spent 1-3 days on their outfits, WTH?? How the heck do you make a Suigintou costume in 9 hours?! The gigantic contrast between the two are telling me I'm not putting enough effort into my costumes, and I'm not doing it fast enough ;A;
