I just made a wig head out of Paper, plastic bags, tape, and the cardboard inner of a roll of carpet tape. His name is Derek and he is absolutely amazing for styling wigs on.

I walked around town the other day in cosplay as Cloud Strife.
Guy shouted out across the street to me. I wasn't sure whether he was happy to see Cloud or making fun of me. I walked back past him on his side of the road and he said "Yeah! Cloud Strife!" So that made me happy.
I was in the library and an IHC guy came up to me and asked who I was supposed to be. I said Cloud Strife, he thought I was Goku from DBZ.
A group of 5 boys aged around 14/15 came up to me when I was leaning over the railing in the Meridian and said "Sup Trunks". I was like "What?" Then I proceeded to tell them, over and over cos they didn't listen, that I was Cloud from Final Fantasy. Finally got away from them.
Was walking towards K-Mart, a couple of ladies with a little girl walked past us. My friend tells me after they were gone that one of them said to the little girl "Did you see Cloud?!"
A little old lady hovered nearby where me and my friend were sitting, me and my friend were talking, I think I had a frowny face on. Then the lady plucks up the courage(I could see her out the corner of my eye but wasn't paying attention to her), comes over to me and tells me she loves my hair. I told her it was a wig, and thank you.
I was coming down the escalator into the Food Court and some guy at a table with a few other people tells me he loves my hair. I say thankoo!
Waiting outside for my dad to pick us up, I was standing by the road looking down it. I see his car behind another car, so I start waving when I can see my dad. The car that was in front of dad tooted at me, then the passenger waved like a mad person and was grinning wildly. I think he thought that Cloud was waving at him. XD
The last epic thing of the day was walking around Pack n Save with dad and my friend on the way home. I get up to the checkouts, I'd left my wallet in the car, so dad's all ragey cos he needed my leftover coins and his card wasn't working. Dad gets really angry about things, so I was scowling and grumpy at him for snarking at me. I'm walking towards the door and a guy looking after the self-checkouts faced me and said "Hello Cloud!" That perked me right up. I turned and said "YEAH!!!" and waved my fist in the air like you do. My friend told me after we were leaving that he'd been completely focused on me while I was at the checkout, was staring at me just waiting for me to walk past him. XD I felt heaps awesome. He even put it as his status on Facebook, that Cloud Strife was buying groceries. I made his day. I found him on FaceBook cos Seraphik knows him and saw his status and told me about it. TWO DEGREES OF SEPARATION IN NEW ZEALAND!! IT'S SO TRUE!

I MUST cosplay in town again some time. >D >D
