This is a really great idea! I'm definitely interested to see mentions of cosplay in the (NZ) media, especially coz I would normally miss it coz I don't read the news paper or anything.

EDIT: And I'm interested to know more about the article in the newspaper. Like what made them write it etc!

I think Macy (organiser of the cosplay event at DO) approached them and asked them if they wanted to do it? I'm not sure... But there's a whole thread about people's responses to the article and such here.

Um. In Auckgeddon 2005 I was interviewed by a reporter from Asia Down Under in my Kagome outfit. That. Was. Scary. 8D

Er yeah I know this hasnt been posted on for ages.

But I wanted to say this cause its amusing. My friend Sam from school who thinks im crazy and that cosplaying is weird cut this outta the herald to bring it to school, give it to me and tell me im weird. Cept I kinda bummed him out by thanking him then being all 'wait a sec, I think I know some of these people.'

Somehow I ended up with zm telling me they were going to ring me and interview me about cosplay on tuesday, yay for random txt conversations with radio hosts that lead to spreading the word of cosplay to the masses XD
