Hi everyone!

I just moved to Auckland to finish my degree, so I'll be here for about two years. I'm from the United States (northwest area), and I've been cosplaying for about three years.

I'm mostly interested in video games, like Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Psychonauts, and Guilty Gear. I also like some anime/manga, such as Cromartie High School, Gurren Lagann, and Dogs: Bullets & Carnage.

While I'm here I'd really like to better my cosplay photography! I've only brought one costume with me (Scout from TF2), so I think I'll focus on taking photos rather than costuming.

The only cosplay event I know of in Auckland is Armageddon in October, so if anyone could point me in the right direction to learn of other events, that would be fantastic!

Oh, and I've been to one NZ con before, Christchurch in 2008 (if anyone remembers the Kakashi/Viral, lol).

kisbe;; I'm not sure, but it definately attracts quite a few cosplayers (There's a subforum for it, on the forum - http://forum.cosplay.co.nz/doujin-overload-f14/, it should give you a pretty good idea though xD) and it's a really good place to pick up original art from local artists c: There is also the Auckland Cosplay Ball (ACB) which starts at 7pm on the same day.

Also, feel free to ignore any possible warnings of thirteen year olds c:

I remember you! <3 I did matsumoto with balloons. orz I STILL CLAIM IT WAS HILARIOUS. And Ritsuka with pink wig/red costume. We talked for awhile, I think? But I dunno, I only remember you because you were badass. 8D
