| Makoto is almost done! I just need to sew on the collars, 2 buttons and make the skirt smaller (I had it on my hips instead of waist when trying it on the other day so it is way too big).

 TAIL! (It is unstuffed, I might buy some in Auckland so it is easier to transport) COLLAR! RIBBON ON SKIRT!  Wig styling! Antennas! Makoto on left, Sakura on right. I am really proud of how both the wigs are turning out :3 I trimmed the back of both, and the fringes (you can't see because Makoto is on a weirdly shaped head stand (and looks like it is floating but I made it more round and the Sakura wig didn't have a fringe originally). Home Basics hairspray is awesome.  Closet cosplay of Amy from Dr Who. I want to be her (I am a redhead called Amelia so I am part way there) and my new wig is vaguely like her hair. I have lots of red knit fabric I could use for her jumper... a new cosplay for Auckgeddon?

| Finally started on Zhen Ji. Although this is the most basic of bases and it needs a lot of changes, especially at the bust area to make the gap more wide and ribbon at the back to make the dress tight fitting around my figure. Lace, dyes buttons ects and so forth need to be done, but~

| Have started making a blazer for Light - can't be bothered with pockets so will make fake ones. The colour's not perfect, but it's good enough.
Just need to do sleeves AAARRRGGGH, lining and hems...
EDIT: Also started the Chairman's sword. Using foam board ^^
Awful serrated edges are awful to cut. |

| Went and bought all the stuff for Chibitalia today!
It was a last minute desicion, and armed with mum (and her eftpos card) , we set off in search of perfect costume stuff!
I got the skirt and pants at $7, bandana at $2 and white apron at $3.
Ok, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find a white apron in Palmy! I went to all the 2 dollar stores, savemart, the salvation army place, stevens, and went into the 1 2 3 dollar store last, only to find ONE white apron left! |

| You could have tried buying an apron from chef shops for the uniform! Only downside is that they can be a bit expensive.
