Eye Patch help!

I'm wanting to do a Ruko Yokune cosplay from when she/he shows up in the synchronicity series. And in the video, Ruko wears this... eyepatch thing! And I have no idea how to make it! Here's a picture:

Thats really the only thing I need help with so far... I'd appreciate any help I can get!

Goldings have affordable leather. Make a mock up or pattern in paper and you can probably get metal rings from there also to use. You'll need to make it firm, but not tight as leather stretches, but it will be durable.

When gabby and i were making ciels eyepatch for our phantomhive cosplay, we started with a piece of weak card stuck to gabbys face to get the shape, then we put small darts in it to shape the part over eye so gabby could blink under the eyepatch and it wouldnt hurt.
then it was just a simple matter of using the piece of card as a pattern, we just used poplin and then we just stuck the card pattern piece into the eyepatch and sewed it up ^.^

Gabby was very happy she didn't have to deal with both pressure on her eye and lost of one eye from the patch
