It's ok :) I hope you come again next time and feel more comfortable :) It's always hard meeting crowds for the first time :)

It was so great to catch up with everyone so I want to thank Cactiberry, Anaria, Belakor, Rolly, Kagerouhi and Angellznz for coming :) Even if we were booted out of the bubble tea shop ;)

So our usual guy was not at Nick's and so we couldn't pick his brains ;) And I got all excited and then sad when a roll of fabric was already sold but I didin't notice (black ink on glad wrap on black fabric.. it was difficult!)

But I hope being able to see a whole lot of fabric and all for very cheap prices (At Nick's all the dress fabric is $4/m and all the furnishing is $8/m) gives Ideas for experimenting with textures :) You can also buy some of it for drafting and testing :)

I think Geoff's was quite happy with us, and how varied purchases of heads and fabric. I now have ridiculous amounts of sparkly organza for my Glinda dress :)

if anyone wants a repeat at some stage feel free to say so :) I go fairly regularly myself, though also the Lincoln Rd branch (Spotlight is just down the road from there and then further down at the Mall are more shops :) ).
