Role-Play, putting the Play in Cosplay (help needed in ChCh April 24th)

This is not a cosplay thing but...
Greetings to you all the wonderful Christchurch Cosplayers!
I have a call from the people at Civil defence asking for victims for a huge search and rescue exercise / competition. This is a vital part of their training to insure that they can come save us if terrible stuffs happen.
For you it means a day to get made-up with wonderful fake injuries (and possibly get advice on how to make cool zombie wounds at home) as well as hone your role-play skills by getting into character.
Who: YOU!
What: The Cliff Dale Rescue Competition
When: 8am till 4.30pm (maybe later if you like BBQ  ) Saturday the 24th April 2010
Where: West Melton Rife Range (but a bus can take you out and bring you back again from The Christchurch City Council building on Tuam Street in town)

THERE WILL BE FREE FOOD!
Yup that’s right, all volunteers will be fed a free lunch AND a BBQ after (so plan to stay till 5.30-ish for BBQ goodness)
Stuff you need to know:
*Please check that you can definitely come before saying so, they need to know how many people to expect so please no last minute drop outs.
*You may be outside for long periods of time, so please bring warm clothing (if it is raining we will be under shelter, however bring a rain coat encase). Also the make-up used for the wounds could stain your clothing, so wear old cloths you don’t mind stained
*You can role-play as little or as much as you want, all they really need you to do is let them know where it hurts. i.e your arm is broken, but the bone is not sticking out so they cant tell by just looking.

I have done this before, and it is was lots of fun, -some of my mates happened to text me and ask what I was up to that day. 'You know that MASSIVE earthquake we just had? Yeah, I am stuck in a collapsed building, waiting to be rescued...'
If you want to team up with someone, they tend to let you stay near someone, so you can talk while you wait to be saved.

Don't fotget to wear layers of clothing to keep you warm no matter the weather, that you won't be heartbroken if they are stained.
Also a raincoat, incase you have to walk in the rain.
It is going to be epic though!
