An announcment

I'm not sure where I should put this, but since it's derected at the CCC I thought I'd post it here.
This means a lot to me and I would appreciate respect just like you would if you were in my position. This is also the easiest way to tell everyone and get my point across properly and how I want to.

I do I put this simply? I’m transgendered. Meaning I’m a guy. Male, a man. But I have a girl’s body. It’s not mine, I wish it wasn’t. One day I hope to go on Testosterone, and get rid of the huge lumps on my chest. It sounds confusing I know. It’s confusing for me.
Some of you might also not believe me, but that doesn’t really bother me because only I can know how I truly feel. I might also lose some of you guys as friends. Which does bother me greatly, but I know that my real friends will always stand by me no matter what.
So I ask you this, please, next time you talk to me or see me, call me he. Call me Shawn; please understand that my name may change from time to time as I try to find the one that fits me. But most of all please don’t put me down or send me to hell…I’m human, I just have different problems from you.

What she said! I think most of CCC will be fine with it so I doubt you will lose many friends from CNZ. Good on you for doing what you believe is right. Next time I see you I will shout 'Hi Shawn!' I may end up muttering 'The Sheep' afterwards. Don't feel insulted by it Razz

That makes sense! Good for you - it's awesome you're not ashamed to be who you truely are and I don't think anyone here will hold that against you. You deserve the chance to be in your proper body. From what I saw the other night, you're a really cool and nice person and I wish you only the best!

This must be a big step for you. In the end it's what's on the inside that really matters and being true to yourself, as long as you are happy then that's all that matters. nodnod

I haven't been able yo look at this topic since yesterday, but wow. Thanks guys ^^ This does mean a lot to me and I'm glad that everyone can accept me for me.
