I get the impression that Bill's happy with as many helpers for set up as possible, staff passes or not, so I'm sure it'll be fine. Very Happy

Just popping in to mention that last year when we were setting up DAE, I just rounded up a handful of people to come in early to help set up and as a direct result we all ended up getting staff passes. Although even if we weren't they set up the ticket booth early so we could have just walked over to get a ticket or get an entry band when we wanted to.

Not sure if it will apply again this year, but seems like the info could be useful

Okay, then I def won't mind helping out moving the boxes. Though if we're going in cosplay it might make sense to come half changed?
Or if Lucy has her car we could store our normal clothes there for the day? If that's alright with her. :O
(I'm planning to wear Prinny on Sat, so this means it'll need to be on her car anyway XD I'm thinking).

i think i'll pass on mcd's, for various reasons orz

storing clothes in my car = okay
storing prinny in my car = okay

about the prinny though, i think you'll need to repair it a bit, it's really squished and bent out of shape and i have no idea what condition it's in because i don't have it at the moment orz

McD's breakfast is terrible. I had one this morning, I could barely choke it down. I'll pass.

On a plus side, confirmed by rooms for the other four nights I am staying. I am going to be SO BROKE at NZAE. I'm just going to survive on the stockpile of Mi Goreng for the next week and a half in order to be able to eat in Dunny.

nah, just after working at mcd's + not really being able to eat fast food, i'm not extremely keen. mccafe is okay, but more expensive. i usually don't eat breakfast during these events, anyway.

@alice; for the prinny i wore white leggings with shorts over the top, with brown boots... but anything would probably work...

Potentially silly question: my kimono is going to get all crumpled in my bag when I pack it on the way down--should I bring an iron to press it with before I wear it? O_o 'Cause even if I press it beforehand, I don't see how I can avoid getting creases in it when I pack it.

Would you like a tutorial on how to fold it properly to minimise creasing? But yeah, having an iron between the lot of us would be nice for comp day...

My hand painting is going pretty well so far - gotta finish the ghost flames on the back and then do the front's flames, and the two rectanglesss.
