1.) the library across the road does have free wifi, but idk if it'll reach to the backpackers.

2.) it really depends what you're looking for. in most cases, no, but they do sell dress lining and lycra really cheap at the fabric store about 200m from the backpackers.

Hnng. Thinking about my booking for all the non-backpackers time. Staying in a dorm with strangers DNFW, but getting my own 'twin' room for my four extra nights would cost me ~$240 (compared to $100 x_x). I could probably afford it, but I don't know if it would be *worth it*.

Opinions?

the otago uni is very careful to kick everyone out. srsly. they play the fire alarm every night at 10.45pm and then systematically turn the lights of each floor on and off until people get pissed off and leave.

Unrelated, but anyway; Bill wants to know if any of us can help with the set up of the madman stuff (moving boxes, basically), and given that the majority of us are getting staff passes, I think it's kind of fair that we help out - at least those of us who are getting the passes anyway.

He said 7.30, which conficts with our waffles, so I'm thinking we either go for an hour to help, then come back for waffles, or we try get there at 9am to help with set up? (i like the latter plan, personally)

I have no problem helping with setup, so I can go setup while you guys waffle. Just save some for me.

I mean, I work at a supermarket so box moving is part of my functions. 8D
