What a weekend... wow

Fri:
was AMAZING, thankyou everyone for making my birthday so Fantastic!!!
Karaoke was awesome
i met sooo many people alot of whom were also staying at the backpackers
so dinner and cake were quite an event.... (also signing my tshirt lol)

(also im sorry to the many many people i stabbed with my yuuko hair flags lol - it sucked to be taller than me for once)

cosplay parade was alot of fun
<3 all the ppl who remembered my bday and wished my happy bday at the convention

Hahahaha i had fangirls!!! it was a new experience for sure, no matter how good my binding was though i couldnt get flat enough *face palm*

Sun:
being asked to go back to pulsar maxx in my yuuko cosplay cos they wanted photos (for the store and also cos they sold yuuko figurines)
ran out of money buying clamp chess
fell in love with cosplayers, the comp was wonderful - you guys are awesome

Oh oh oh: one of the parts which were bordering on a bit exasperating: "How do you walk in those??!/Is it hard to walk in those??" I probably should've seen it coming, but still - I'd get asked, then I'd answer, then half a second later I'd be asked the exact same thing. It was like.... random encounters or something. 8Db

Although according to my sister when we walked past two guys, one of them said "Skillz!" and the other said "Yeah, she's still short in them though." Best response ever. I wish I'd have heard it myself. I'd have killed myself laughing because it's SO TRUE. I'd need three Tengu Geta to even try get to the height of some of yas. xD

Still though, it's nice being small again~

One person recognised me. And the judges said Final Fantasy X instead of XI ;A; Some guy came up to me afterwards and asked me where my character was the game XD

i have too many favorite moments and such of it, but it was really good this time, though it was funny how most people did'nt know what my cosplay was from on saturday but kept saying it was good.
That and meeting Steve Blum and getting a photo with him.

Anyway my best memory would be the kamehameha contest. I don't care if I only made it to the semis, hearing the crowd erupt into applause after the first round when Bill's hand is over your head is epic!

Indeed, it was strange being on eye-level with most others taller than myself!

8DDDDb I'M GLAD YOU LIKED IT SO MUCH HAHAHAH. I actually stylised it as 'Toucans' on the registration form, then wrote next to it "'Toucans' like 'Two-Kans'? Get it? ;D" The punniness comes from my paediatrician and I'm glad it was not lost on all!! <33

Captain Awesome was probably the best sunday moment.
And the best Friday moment was that guy who sounded like Christopher Lee when he called Roxas to me. 'Twas awesome. He then proceeded to say it on Saturday and Sunday too even though I was in other cosplays.

Favorite moment was balancing on 8 pocket rockets cans for an hour on the Sunday night while getting people to read my shoes. Sadly, only about 40% of people actually were playing the message on them D:

Also going swimming in the sea at 11pm was fairly awesome.

I really doubt you could have. This was Easymac that was cooked on a stove for over an hour with excessive amounts of water. By the time we were eating it, it was soggy, over-cooked, too much liquid, mushy and definitely did not taste like mac'n cheese 8D;;

I remember from Auckland that one flavour tasted vaguely like mac and cheese, the other flavour tasted strange.

That was probably the chicken one which is my favourite. Smile

(Nacho cheese one is strong tasting). I was a bit disappointed that I got all cheese and no chicken ones. sad
