In hindsight, aside from pancakes on saturday morning, and those baked goods we had delivered to us on Friday...all I've eaten over the past three days is pizza and Burgers.

I shall have to take a leaf from PIs death note and get to exercising.

Lol I lasted on nothing but the tiny packet of doritos and oreo stick we got at the beginning on fri and on sunday I tried the same... but then i got too hungry and had Pizza 8Db LOL

I wish I took more cosplay photos but after the 1st day, the number of photos I took slowly declined..Mainly cause I got tired of asking people.

Next time someone should organise a time when photographers can gather and take photos. It makes things so much simplier. Plus, that way we dont feel so intrusive.
I know you guys gather outside the arena from time to time but the Wellington wind really doesnt do justice for the amazing costumes. People's wigs get in the way or people's eyes are slightly squinting..
The lighting in the arena is so much better. Even the hallway/upstairs isnt that great.

And the real funny bits;

1) A guy behind me says, thats a guy. I turn to him and say, 'are you sure, some women are good at open chest binding.'

2) Discussing with other cosplayers several times whether it was a girl or guy.

3) Even when uploading photos to my laptop, and my roommate saying it's a guy. She made me enlarge it and examine it in great detail. No, look at the face, she is a she. Beside she sounds like a she.

But serioulsy, I don't know how you can possibly do that.

Yes the whole venue poses problems. There was the outside shoot, then it rained. There was the parade, but they always turn the lighting down, and there is limited seating at the front, then they complain that the isles are being blocked. Maybe they should push the front rows back a little, give us space?

There is often ample opportunity at Auckland, we did games outside in good lighting, and just took photos afterwards. Also at ChCh the games outside proved a good oportunity. But we need to encourage people who are not on CNZ to go too.
