but anyway seems like most a keen for the new brighton idea... I thought meet in town then bus out together like they did for sumner... only thing is backup plan if it rains, or do we just brave the weather out?

yea I think that idea of meeting in town and then busing there together, and as for the weather, if i remember correctly New Brighton mall has some covered-up area...? not so sure, but although the idea might seem boring but we're a kind of group that can just sit anywhere and socialise crazily @.@ would that be ok?

We can always go to the library if it does rain, they have an awesome library there, and they have meeting rooms you can hire cheaply as well, so there are weather alternatives.

hows this for timings,

for those bussing, meet at 11:30 outside the bus exchange (platform B) and catch the 11:35 bus to New Brighton. You'll get there about 12:00pm, and meet with the other cosplayers at the whale playground next to the library at 12:10pm

If its raining, we can meet up inside the ground floor of the library

it depends on what we're doing first.

Shall we have another picnic for lunch, or just buy it ... or have lunch before and then meet up? Then again the weather might decide our plans for us >>'

also the only thing is if it is raining then we can't really do any events/games - lol well not the kinds I'm thinking, so yeah socialize... hmm oh theres a couple of games we could do if we end up being in the library.

we could all just go to subway about 12:30 or 1 or whenever most of us get hungry? subway is yum, Sub of the day on saturday is Pork Riblet as well, i had a foot long for lunch today Very Happy

we could always hire a room for like $3.50 hr\, though to be honest it sounds like hassel and we would't really be able to decide on the moment whether we wanted it or not.

Why are there no penguins!? There's like, a huge billboard on the side of the road advertising the Antarctic Centre...It has a picture of all these penguins and it says something like "The penguins are waiting for you." XDDD

the only thing is those that don't eat have to wait for us... the group kinda gets split up.
but yeah agreed about the hall, though thats pretty cheap, but we wouldn't really know till the day... still mall/library kinda restricts what we can do as well hmmm...
for 'official meetings' I'm trying to think of events and places that are free or cheap, where most can and want to attend... ... which kinda just leaves picnics, and games, movies (as in making movies/skits) and photoshoots, I suppose.
