Midsummer Think they are going to remake Final Fantasy V next- Then Six, Then Seven xd
V and Six will go on the DS

Think Square is just practiseing Remakes so the Final Fantasy VII doesn't end up being a flop and disapointing the massive VII fanbase...

I don't think they will make the remake for a long time, if at all, remakes sell way less than new games and they would have to start from scratch (not including the script of course) since coding for any new console is way different to the old stuff

The tech demo means nothing, they were just demonstrating the power of the new consoles, they did a tech demo for FFVIII on the Ps2 and that was never made.

Also, its not Square any more, hasn't been for a long time, its Square-Enix

True-That's why they might remake Six and Five -Which won't make the Seven remake till about 2012-2013 is which plenty of change between here and then..not just techology wise- but also Fanbase wise..

They were Square- Soft before hand actually.....

You know, I would be happy if all they did for the remake was change it to "Don't attack while its tail is up"

The prospect of a FFVII remake both excites me and worries me. My main concern is that they will make the same mistakes that they did in Advent Children. For example, CLOUD'S HAIR IS SUPPOSED TO BE YELLOW, NOT BLONDE!! AND HE'S SUPPOSED TO WEAR PURPLE!!

If they mess that up again I will be annoyed. So annoyed that I will pause the game at various intervals and colour in my tv screen with yellow and purple pens to make Cloud look the way he should.

Well, technically hes wearing a different costume, so really it doesn't have to be purple.
Maybe he dyed his hair for the game?

Yes !! Cloud is meant to be wearing purple- But in Crisis Core didn't they change the Soldier Classes ?-So Black is 1st Class and Purple is 2nd ? So if they remake Final Fantasy VII--He might wear Black.....

Maybe we should write Squeenix a letter ?

If you ever do a Final Fantasy VII remake in the near future
Please make Cloud's clothes purple

Hojo isn't Cloud's Father is he ? 0_o
Thought that Cloud gained his strength from Zack and Tifa...

and that Hojo tried to turn Cloud into a Sephiroth Clone when he was sixteen and put Jenova cells inside him ?
Hojo made Cloud weak, But Zack and Tifa- His best friend and possible love interest made Cloud stronger mentally and physically ....

Cloud is like, totally owned by Sephiroth in the Nibelheim incident. And Hojo comes and saves the day and yeah. So Snow is correct, he would have just bled to death otherwise.

Nothing wrong with old Sephiroth, Sephiroth is a fine young-hearted gentlemen. It's the Shrina Company that screws Sephiroth up, by telling him and making Sephiroth believe that he was related to Jenova and that Jenova was his mum.
