For flight tickets?
Depends what company it is, which saver I get.. I looked up one return trip, it was about $260. Looked up another, it was about $166. Then there's the cost of the motel, and food, and all that other stuff that piles up on you.. xD;;

xDDD I'm so happy that people liked my cosplay! =D It wasn't cold inside the building, but it was actually quite cold outside when I had to wait 40 minutes for my dad to show up. =( I had my friends hoody, tho, so that was fine.

Actually.. If anybody wants to watch, I'll put a link to the YouTube slideshow I made for you guys to see. xD These are the photo's my friend took, cos I fail completely at cameras. =D

Yeah, the weekend ends up being one big blurr. So if you were with Chu-Li and Auron then thats why I would have come up and talked. No problems about the club info. As for cosplay watch the CSI sub-forum here, Dunedin stuff goes there. If it doesn't then start something!

Yeah, I had on thick trousers, but just a cotton top, more that you, but was cold outside both days.

I think that must be the slide show my workmate asked about. He said every second shot was of the girl in the yellow bikini. You had just joined so I could say yeah I know who it is!

I fail at stalking compared to some people here. I am too polite. But it's O.K. now, cause I joined the forums, i'm one of you.

Costs for Auckland. Flights from ChCh about $120 off peak return if booked early. But Dunedin is more.
Motel, we found the Abella about 500m from the front entrance, for like $30/night if the numbers worked out.
Plus food and entertainment. Plus almost $50 for tickets, but students are cheaper. Trust me pre-pay tickets. The Queue at Auckland was still 500m long at 11am!

I would allow $300-350 going from ChCh.

Aarrrgh all you people trying to talk me into going to Aucklaannnd!! xDD I really want to go! But I don't have any money! My parent's.. Well, my mother, is always happy to give me money. She's going to give me some money for the Anime Con down here in Dunedin.. Maybe I can talk her into putting some money aside each fortnight for Auckland..... Waaaahhh!! Temptation! Such a cruel mistress!!

True....there is the important necessaries for cosplayers....FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but try an get a job then just ask for like four days off because well Auckageddon is three days but you could get here like a day earlier at the place you will be staying at then either share food with a fellow cosplayer ^^.

Actually you will be so exhausted that the day after off is more important. We got a cheap flight Friday morning, so took that day off. But others arrived Friday night.

Also Itachi, there is only one Geddon in ChCh, and a little anime convention in Dunedin.

Night fill shelf filler at a supermarket? I presume this has to work around study? Kitchen hand. Cleaner. Dog walker. Delivery driver. Even if you have some contact with customers shelf filling and delivering stuff it is better than on the counter all day.

Hmmmm. I was thinking about the warehouse.. Just putting things on shelves and such. Working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. At 12.50 an hour, I'd get about 140 after tax a week, which is.. 560 a month. Auckageddon is... 7 months away, so 560 x 7.. -Gets out calculator on computer- I'm sick, so I can't think. xD 3820.

I don't have study or anything, I'm a bum. xD I shall go look around for jobs when I'm well again. =D I really wanna go!!

Itachi, it's a little Anime Convention down here in Dunnaz. =D

Yeah it's held at the university and covers manga and anime only as I understand it. But there will be cosplay of course. But a Sci-Fi or comic cosplay may be a little less appropriate. I will tell you what it is like after I go to it.

Sunday right? No, pretty sure no. But I did get Chun Li and Auron. And of course you too. I think I saw one on someones album.
