Team Fortress 2 Cosplay

Hey there, my name is Courtney and my older brother and I are looking
to do a full Team Fortress 2 group just for fun at Wellygeddon.

Because of a recent event, we have changed our plan to having 2 TF2 teams.

A Red team (Consisting of a Medic, Spy and Scout)
And a Blue team (Consisting of a Sniper, Scout, Solider/HWG and Spy)

We would love for more people to join!

We plan to do a big battle at Armageddon on the Sunday (Or another day, depending on who is there)

In addition: My brothers and I do not plan to do the Friday in cosplay :)

huh? Is death626 part of your group? He started a TF2 group thread here

Anyways, I've already signed up for Red Soldier, only on the Sunday though, but Id be happy to tag along for the photo-ops!

BTW TF2 Groups are awesome- so glad they're happening now, as my TF2 Heavy only did battle with a Blue Spy last at Auckgeddon last year

So anyway I was thinking long and hard about what I'm gonna do and the only class that fits me would be scout (seeing as I'm short) but i could improvise.Scout rush ftw ^_^.

Also congrats to Peter(Plazcheeter) for being the 1.9% of TF2 players to sap 1000 Engineer buildings.

I think it could work with more than one Scout haha.

My little brother was going to be Scout (he is as annoying as the Scout >_>)

I myself am quite small, but since I am the Medic, it doesn't matter.

I will talk to my brothers and see if they don't mind. I'm sure if we find you all on the day, I will gladly have all of us together for a photo-op.

@TinTango - I was so happy last year to see someone go as the Spy that I asked my brothers to do this group for this year.

If anyone remembers, I was the Player 4 from the CAD comic series at last year's Wellygeddon.

@TinTango again - death646 ISNT part of my group. I messaged him to see if he wanted to do something, but i have had no reply.

Side note: This is awesome seeing comments...

Anyhoo, in conclusion, you don't have to join my group per-say if there is something you're already committed to, BUT I would LOVE to have a photo-op with everyone who is in a TF2 group. That would be awesome, yes?

626 doesn't come often to these forums. I met him at Auckgeddon last year, and Im sure he'd be happy that there's more people coming!
Creature is around, but hes entering the comp on Sunday, if you ask him he could do Blu Spy on Friday (if he's still free) and tell him that you're all doing TF2 for the weekend.

So let's do battle... oh, and how about we learn the lines for the "meet the ..." trailers and randomly take vids of us re-enacting them?
Im sure the "meet the spy" one would be hilarious!!!

I'll practice my soldier taunts and all too.

@Dimey- good on you for suggesting this group. I put a thread on here for Auckgeddon last year, and got no replies. sad

62cm, I know because Ive had a wig commissioned and I needed to size it.

No probs if you can't find anything, Im gonna have a drive around Aucks and see what we'ver got.

Although it would be good having a rival faction, we could set up for an epic battle... but red have got a medic and engineer, so we've got no healers or dispensers.

Ah well, for me it depends on what colour helmet I can find.

I would've loved to be a Pyro for this group just for an excuse to make/use an awesome flamethrower/axe prop, but I don't have a gas mask/jumpsuit/free day. I'm sorry. D':

I am, however in full support of this group, and I will do my best not to be that one creepy kid that keeps staring to gawk at you folks.

@Tracer- hey that's great that you're a fan. We're just getting started on TF2 groups this year. Next year its gonna be bigger and better!

@Zephyr: Okay, let's go Blu! I've looked online at the army surplus stores and the stuff they have is... awesomesauce.
Why didnt I see this earlier? No wonder its pretty easy to do modern military groups, you canget all your kit (authentic looking too) from these places!

lol yea I've never been to an army surplus store till today and it was amazing all the stuff they have.They had a suitable vest for the sniper but it wasn't black.

Thats okay. I saw lots of vests at the Bunning's Warehouses that could also be quite good.
Did you see any gas masks for a pyro? I saw some online but they weren't the right colour.
Im so gonna check out the Auckland store this week.
