I haven't had a stalker (yet, probably) but I will admit I have stalked people sometimes to try and take pictures!
Though, last year my non-cosplaying friend ditched me for 2 hours to follow a cosplayer around. It was quite funny, she couldn't talk to him so she just followed him at a distance. *sigh* I don't know if the cosplayer is on here or not, though.

Eeee! I've been mentioned! xDD It wasn't so much a 'stalker' that was following me around. It was a guy named John that took an interest in the fact I was wearing next to nothing. He basically joined our little group, tho. It was fine in the end.

But, I'm guilty of being a stalker. xD;; I was stalking Auron for the entire weekend of the ChChGeddon. =DD I got a few pics of him. I was happy.

He was standing sorta away from our group, then looked in my general direction, so I waved like a squeeing fan girl and he came over. I told him I'd been stalking him, but he'd already noticed. =P It was great times. Friends, nao. xD

Other than John and me being a stalker, I didn't see anybody really creep, except for a couple of special needs guys. It was fine. =DD

Those special needs guys were O.K. Sarah who won mention at the comp, who had to be reassured she deserved it. I know Michaela is pretty though about who gets mentions.
Then in my photos you will see the guy in the gold top, in front of the Tardis. He was stalking Paul (Dr. Who). And he told/asked everyone. Saw one or two others, but they seemed pretty cool.

We got stalked by a couple of older guys for a while at Chchgeddon. They kept walking behind us and taking photos. A little disconcerting. Just ask! Must have been Marvel nerds.

Um, well I had this guy who every day at Auckland would come up to me and say he loved my costumes, and could he get a photo. Not really a stalker, but something about the way he said it seemed different.

Then after the ball he came up to me and said you look like you need this more than I do, and gave me his hat. It was a very nice hat. But still ... Random?

I had some weird girl nearly follow me right into the bathroom. And a few that glomped me from behind, catching me completely off guard. This was the weirdest experience since it was the first time I cosplayed. naughty

Well lots of cosplayers are huggy. I don't mind. But sometimes they are a little, um, enthusiastic and assume everyone else is. I know cosplayers I can't hug at all, and plenty I can. So yeah people can't just assume.

Anyway Rikku I am happy to hug alsmost anybody. Just give it time, i'm sure you will get hugs once you start going to the cosplay club.

At Auckland Itachi's hat was destroyed by the end. She was not happy. A little common sense goes a long way. I mean, like I did not hug Crazy, not cause she was all skimpy, but cause of the big hat!

On the topic of getting hugs - Kero is the costume that gets me the most hugs, whether I want them or not. @_@ I think if you're showing a bit of skin then generally people are a little more respectful about not-touching.
