As long as it has a director who respects the source material, I'm game.
But really, I want it directed by Shane Black.

if you do your research the author of deathnote is the same author that writes bakuman, which both are animes, which i think is a very good accomplishment. so if warner bros have tsugumi ohba then it will be good.
