The hotel has a bakery section, I doubt they're going to let you bring in food and it will be in the contract that Seong can't let you bring any in or condone it...?

I think it's a cute idea. C:

Denneil and I were going to try do one for DAD last year, but Bill wasn't keen on the idea. ;o;

@Duckeh: that was my intention maybe arrange something with the hotel so we can sell their produce 83 but hopefully at a lower price

srsly its WAY overpriced and i think people would buy from us because its close by and they get the "cosplay cafe" experience well as close to it as we can make it anyways >> XD

Ironic, I was reading about the maid cafe on wikipedia last week.

But that's a great idea! I mean, it would be like...The first Auckland Maid/cosplay cafe? I'm sure it will attract a lot of attentions. Even to the people who isn't otakus.

hence DO as a trial run to see general reception amongst the more "niche" population then perhaps something a little more public later on if everything works out XDD but we shall see first 83

im thinking even if people are under 16 years since this is purely voluntary it should be fine that they serve people (obviously no alcohol etc.)

and plus points for looking awesome on the CV (voluntary serving customers at 12 would seem impressive to me anyways >>)

i'm getting keening and keening to do this. i've never been to DO so i have no idea how this will work. But i'll turn up and help! if you really need a bouncer for free can i help? i'm a red belt in tae knwon do ( that's two away from black) and i can put on a really mean voice on also :) ^^
