There's always going to be a few people who are busy and unable to come. :/
If you pick a date early enough most people will be able to work around it though. The poll is pretty even so I say pick a month and go for it. :3

For people who go to school its soooo impractical

My only concern is that if you have the ball in July, then we won't be able to have a mid-winter christmas party.

That event was originally on the 19th of July, which is around the right timing. If the ball was in the school holidays in October, then that would mean we could have both events!

Otherwise having it in Augst (the same as last year) could also work.

I just checked Wikipedia and apprantly the proper date of midwinter is around the 21st of June, so we could do that, but that would still mean we would be having two big events right after each other :\

I say do it Saturday September 11th, because it's my birthday Sunday September 12th. xDDD

But seriously, for school people and others that are studying, I reckon the July holidays would be best, because for one thing, it's the holidays, so obviously more time and less stress, but it'd also be better than the October holidays, because teachers and tutors always give out so much work in those weeks since it's so close to the end of the year.

But no matter what, NOTHING is stopping me from attending this ball! xDDD

I like the idea of it being on Saturday September 11th.

That way people won't be too stressed over Auckgeddon.

the first two weeks of september is the LAST possible time to hold the ball in the given venue, any time after that will not work please remember as the lighting tech i do know what im talking about.

The last week of August would be good - though that's just my two cents. I'd probably still attend if it were in September. Not October though, too much frantic Auckgeddon sewing. |D
