Wig wefts By Junko. 18/01/10, 09:16 am |
| Ok so I wan't to revamp my kotoko cosplay for the WCB with a slightly altered design, pretty red yukata fabric, ect~
BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT
That's all fine and dandy, my problem lies in the kotoko has strangly fustrating hair. Please refer below;
- Spoiler:
Basically I want to take something like this
http://www.cosworx.com/product.php?productid=25837&cat=2446&page=1
in solid black and add long extensions.
Guess what I can't find?
LONG EXTENSIONS.
Ok so, I don't want ridiculasly floor length ones but all I can find are 24" wefted ones and 48" loose at cosworx. The rest of the internet seems to be obsessed with expensive human hair. And unless I wefted the 48" without doing it inhalf, which would probably be dangerous, iuno, never wefted before, well, yeah.
Thus; WHERE CAN I FIND GOOD WEFTS FOR WIGS THAT ARN'T HUMAN HAIR D: |

| You could always buy a really long wig, cut it up & use it as wefts? |

| With the wefting thing - there are a few tutorials on Katiebair's site for no-sew wefts, which could be what you're after. My Hatsune Miku wig is a short style with two clip-in ponytails that would be perfect for this style - they're just two big bulldog clips with hair sewn over them. I imagine that would work quite well with the no-sew ones too, if you'careful :) I loaned the wig to someone, but when I get it back I can take pictures if you like. |

It's the giant bells + the style (kinda) means that the clips get in the way ALOT

that would be cool. I suppose if I use small clips it may work but again, those flippin' bells make it really difficult DX |
