hmmm how to organise it though....
Perhaps see how many people wanna do secret santa... everyone spend $2-5 on something small. If we have say at least 8-10 people keen, go through with it?

Edit: ~new poll up~ (and the first post has the details 'so far')
so those are our options...
- secret santa
- pass the parcel
- other ... so if you have another idea of how to give out some presents pm or post
- the fake idea just to make the tree look pretty =D

Think it the secert Santa idea, maybe you could put people's names into a hat Aura and they could draw out the name that they will giving the gift to..

Another Idea was used at the End of Year Youth Group Ball and they gave out Candycanes and other lollies for awards, and they usually gave them out for people that attracted the Youth Group's leader attetion- like dancing really crazy, or doing something really random- or embrassing..

But maybe we can use the Candycane idea for best dressed cosplay costume- Best dancer etc-

They also used a Prizegiving , but we can use awards for best AMV maker-
Best Cosplay Outfit, Most improved New-comer-Favourite Oldie-ETC

Just random ideas that popped into the mind..

Yeah that was my only issue with secret santa and pass the parcel ... for this I wanna try and make sure everyone gets some sort of little present =D

secret santa: so you mean the santas find out who they're gift is for on the night? Not before? That could work, the other thing was to get everyone to pm/email me, then I'd get a list and pm/email everyone back the name of the person. But your idea sounds less complicated ^^

ums, yeah I was thinking that, best christmas (or winter) themed costume, best look-alike... etc etc xD

we'd just need a way to get all these prizes...
... I'ma thinking we could start a club kitty... if everyone/most popped in $2-5ish all that money could go towards prizes for the party or for future events. ... oO iunno its a thought even for later on.

Secert Santas ? Usually at Intermedite/ High School they put our names into a hat a week before the very last day at school, on the monday we found out who we had to buy presents for and then on friday people got their gifts and then they found out who their secert Santas were ^_^ xd

We could do this, on the night, get nominations (either people nominate themselves, or others nominate them) and then let everyone vote then and there?

I likes it ^^ throw in best winter and/or christmas-themed cosplay for the night as well.

(I hope most are gonna have themed cosplay its more fun to see what designs they come up with =D)

hey an idea for a game which works really well when you dont know how many people are coming is when everyone who comes brings a prezzy (under $5) and its put in the middle. then you give everyone a number and the smallest number starts. they go in and pick a present.
The next person goes and if they want the first persons present they take it off them and that person gets a new one or takes 1 off another person (not the same person tho)
and of course the game ends with everyone having a present (good or bad lol)

if theres lots of people then you can just break off into 2 groups
