Mid-Winter Christmas Cosplay Party

MWCCP = Mid-Winter Christmas Cosplay Party

When: 19th July
Time: 6-9pm
Where: Its going to be held at the Church hall on the Corner Oxford Terrace and Madras Street.
What: As the title says! Party, in Cosplay, Winter-Christmas themed =D
~ Foods: everyone is bringing something
~ Games: mwhahahah
~ Music: anime-themed o'course, dancing.
~ Anime screening: TBA
~ Presents! Secret Santa style... =D

What to bring:
~ Yourself in cosplay - Winter and/or Christmas themed, (don't have to though.)
~ A food item
~ A $2 present for the present game (i.e a dice, pen, keyring, stickers, whatever)

Rough Timetable:
6-6.30 = eat
6.30-7.30 = games
7.30-7.45 = dance off competition
7.45-8 = photos
8-8.45 = Free Dancing (for the ones who want a ball)
8.45-9pm = Presents (ie present game)

games consist of: Chinese whispers, duck duck chocobo, wink murder, pin the scarf and santa hat on pikachu, make a story etc...

from 7-9pm in the background will be a movie or a couple eps of anime, or video games -ddr, singstar, iunno whatever...

anyway you guys keen for it?
If so any plans on what we shall do?

Basic idea; hire a hall, decorate?, have foods, play games etc etc

could have christmas/winter - themed costumes, though of course you dont have to ^^

Suggestions, ideas, so on so forth...

we could have a theme of red and green (to match christmas) so people could cosplay in those colours (optional)
and we gota have some decorations!!!

I was gonna add to the post, do we want one?
if we have enough numbers we'll hold one - but everyone has to bring a food and donate some moneys towards a hall when I find out the price.
The more people that come the less money the hall will cost ^^;

sounds gd. if people pay a bit more it can also go towards decorations etc (little prizes)
and whatever is left can go towards the vans for SCP

um I made a poll... cause ... I did.

UM.
It'll be (hopefully) $10 or under, probably like $5 per person, at least the hall will be well actually it all depends on how many people are gonna come and how much the hall is.
~ if the hall is per person or per hour xD

and yeah it would be awesome to do christmas versions.
Thats why I thought of putting up the poll now, cause we're thinking of holding this mid July so it gives time for people to make costumes for it.
(Though again no one has to do christmas versions ^^ or even cosplay.)
