mhrrr, panicking 8D;; ChChGeddon is coming up, and my cosplays are currently non-existent xD; My street!Vexen cosplay is almost finished, though. Just need to get a sweater vest in an appropriate colour and work out how to get my mop of hair under that wig. I would've thought that it would be EASIER to get my hair under that than my Near wig, but apparently not xD;
I have worked out a backup option for Suzie, though, in case I can't get her black and grey outfit. Which is good. Even if white looks appalling on me, if push comes to shove, I might just try to track down a white trenchcoat xD;

OKAY. Two screwups later, and my corset is shaped for BREASTS. I am moving onto putting together the "embroidery" on my Ivy dress, and have no camera, therefore no way to document one idea before moving onto the next. Grr!

I think I've finalised my plans now ;;; Hotaru for both days, both days with blood dye...? (Anyone know of any hypo-allergenic facepaint?) Since my sister got a bit grumpy that I scrapped the original idea maybe I'll offer her up to be Shinrei.

I have two digital cameras - the baby one is on loan to a friend, and the biggie is in my wardrobe at my flat. Not my workspace, which is where I am now. I only have film babies with me at the moment...and my laptop, which is currently being (carefully) manhandled to get shots of what I'm doing!

I don't think it feels abruptly cut off, I like how there are tendrils that snake up the legs and they lean into your inner thighs ;D

General Progress - Page 27 IvyProg-1

The fringe on the bottom edge of the train, as seen in the reference pic, is being done away with - I can't think of a way to make it look good in real life. So I'm embellishing the hell out of the train instead Very Happy

Also, thank god there are some people online to help me out when school's in session.

Well, that settles it - layout 4 it is, and I've just dyed all bits of lace required. They SHOULD be rayon, and easily dyeable....we'll see. Apparently I have to wait six friggin' hours before I can rinse them and see what's happening.

theres still a couple of things here and there to fix up but pretty much finish!

WOW WHAT A COLOSSAL WASTE OF TIME. The "rayon" appliques I just tried to dye, are not rayon. Thus, they did not take the dye. physics bollocks. I'm gonna try acrylic ink and iso, see if that works...
