Because I decided to do an approximation on Rue for the Magna Carta group and seeing how much it will probably cost me made me go

Would you all dislike me if I said that I got almost all the fabric for next years cosplays(not taking into account ones that may emerge out of the blue next year) for about $40-50 in the Fabric Warehouse sale?

I think I need about 6L of resin for just one costume planned this year so I'm already looking at Way Too Much right there ;)

Meh, what else are you going to do with it? It's not there to look at, and it makes very poor catfood. You can fashion it into interesting paper aeroplanes, and perhaps a small hat and matching tie, but far better employed on fabric, fabric and MORE FABRIC. /maniacal laughter

I totally under estimated my costs looking at my list, re-calculating I am wondering why I ever begun cosplaying if not to become poor plus I kinda added in another $170-ish for a costume I decided I was going to add yesterday along with my hideous (very much so, I consulted mum on tutu fabric this morning, turns out for what I'm doing it's more like $280 for fabric alone) miscalculation, my costs look more like pyros SOMEONE KILL ME AND REMIND MY CORPSE TO NEVER COSPLAY AGAIN

What kind of thigh highs are you after? I got a pair for $90 on Trademe, but have never ever seen them for less than that. If we're the same size and you can use some black shiny 5" stilettos, do you want to borrow mine? I'm a size 10, and the boots are pretty narrow at the toe.

I spend pretty much all of my own money on my props, I get all my wigs as birthday and Christmas presents, and since I never buy clothes, my parents let me spend the money that would've been spent on them on fabric + op-shopping stuff.
