....I personally see nothing wrong with double ups. It makes for some awesome crack photos 8D & especially if it's organised with everyone on CNZ I can't see people getting excluded because their costume 'isn't as good' as someone else's.

meh, I guess I just don't see why people get into a big hoo hah about their being doubles. If people want to cosplay the character then it's stupid to say 'oh but they already are so you can't kthxbai'.

If it's a group for a comp or an arranged photoshoot then double ups are badbut this is a fun Ball group, I have no issues against there being double ups in such a group getting as many different characters as possible would be great but I honestly wouldn't mind if someone wanted to double my character for this and I think the idea of having two of a character for this is absolutely fine as long as the organizer is fine with it.

(And I agree with PI. And also, if someone is already cosplaying a character it should not discourage anyone from cosplaying them! I'm only against double-ups if it's for comp, or something I'm particularly passionate about... (Yosuke~ <3))

EDIT : I changed my mind. Until further notice I will NOT allow doubling up, feel free to make your own group, but no doubling up until I've said this over with Nee. I'll remind you guys that we are the creators of this group, so please don't say mean comments here. PM all your worries, hate mail, love mail and opinions.

So NO doubling up at the moment as Nee and i need to talk and think this over.

Uhm, I just realised.

Since all the pairings for Magnet, the have eachothers colour headphones (Like, With Luka and Miku, Luka has blue headphones, Miku has pink headphones.)

And I'm cosplaying Meiko, what colour should mine be?
Should they just be red?

i wear powered contacts-- i'm literally legally blind. my eyesight is -1325 in one eye, and -1150 in the other (compared to regular -20/-20 vision).
the colored contacts i get are from korea, i buy them here in malaysia 'cause the local ACG community has people who have batches to order them in for cosplay (or... regular wear if you like). i'm sure there are dealers online that are willing to ship them to NZ; i had a few bookmarked on my old laptop, i'll have a look for you if you'd like.
the highest power that GEO / DUEBA lenses come in are -1000. :3 i get geo for RM25 locally (about NZ$10) and dueba at RM50 (~NZ$20), depending on the trader this might include shipping from the trader to the buyer (korea to the trader is already factored in).
but of course this is batch orders, and it's likely to be a little more expensive if you order single pairs. i could possibly look into the info for you after this weekend if you (or someone else) would like to organize a batch order for CNZ.
(ETA;) also; you could get non-powered lenses from trademe and then wear your glasses over them when not doing photos.

I mean, My eyesight is bad, I get migranes if I have my glasses off for a long period of time [like 12 hours] and I'm personally a Perfectionist so i refuse to wear my glasses while cosplaying. So it's like make myself get a migrane>Cosplay :C
Anyway.

I won't be starting my costume for a very long time. Still have yet to start my 3 wellygeddon cosplays. And I need to start coming up with couples cosplay ideas for me and Pyro. This year is gonna be funn.

If our conclusion was that yes doubling ups, you can still be Rin. ==;;

Sorry for the double post, but we've come to a conclusion!~

We will not allow doubling up until the group's been filled, meaning finding a Gakupo and a Sonika. So...If you want the hopes of being have to double up, then advertise and force your friends into being on of them. <3

Mikuo wig got! Yay! (I might try on some of the cut hair sharpie dying it slightly green to see if I can get it more accurate and then do it on the wig if it works)

I also say we add Luki and Meito to the open list, that way if someone wants to join but isn't set on a character the have more choice and for the people who don't like double-ups there is less chance
