it's ok... I'm manly, not cute. Anyway, now is a good time to remember why you cosplay. Don't let What other people say about your cosplays get you down. You're doing the cosplay for yourself (and maybe your friends)- NOT THEM. FIGHT!

U-Uhm...I can sing (Ive taken singing lessons for like 3years now) But I'm not very good >....> I mean, sure I can sing Japanese.. Not very well though.

ohlol, hate to bust in on the thread of a group I'm not even in, BUUUT~

Just felt like pointing it out that it's mean to allow double-ups. Sure, say 'oh but hey other people cosplay it too'. We all know that. But think of it like this: in a group, you are meant to be filling spaces and aiming for a cast. You want to be in a group so you can interact with a cast of people dressed for the same series as you.

It's like... allow double-ups, you defeat that purpose. The better of the two is always the one that people want photos with, and in an environment like cosplay, that breaks people. Consider it this way... you act in a play, you're going to be (barring child-adult versions) the only one of your character in it. We're all just actors, really. And to allow multiples of a character is insulting. It's like showing up to a performance of this play and being told two people're playing the lead 'cause they decided to let someone else join in with you in doing so.

Say it's childish hating double-ups, but I know people in their mid-to-late twenties who ditch groups 'cause of double-ups like us teenagers do. It's not childish, it's human nature. You want to be special 'cause that's what a lot of us cosplay to do: be different.

... Alternatively? Look at it this way: rather than a dumb idea in terms of group mechanics, consider the fact that if group leaders agree to this, it hurts their social status as a good group organizer.

Have fun watching your group get angry at each other if you allow them. This is the sort of thing that divides cosplayers, y'know.

Most of the groups I'm in? We don't allow double-ups. We all get along better for it. C: So see how much happier everyone is if you don't, either~

Btw, Kiki's really upset about this... so please, do consider that. ^^;; I know I shouldn't be swinging in on random groups like this, but I wanted you all to see a little bit of an outsider's view on doubles-
