I'm gonna be a fag & only do half day Touhou, the sudden influx of touhou has kinda put me off.
Also I'm gonna slightly alter Hinas design, when I signed up for this I swear I picked a character that had an awesome outfit 8D

So yeah, probably starting mine in the holidays with Maddi, but hopefully will have lost some weight by actual DO xD
Question - Are props (e.g weapons) wanted/needed/not needed? I reckon they'd be pretty annoying in an enclosed space like DO, but they'd be cool >3<
On the space thing, and remembering the crowd last year, Maddi and I will be making our wings...smaller xD So, not exactly accurate on that front, but yeah >>' Would rather be inaccurate then have them snapped in half.

Weapons. I forgot about that.

Haven't started mine either~ simple enough and lots of time so. . /shrug/ June holidays it is.
Though I'm not sure what kind of fabric I should use.

@Cacti ROFL, the title says it's for "Touhou Project Remilia"... hahaha! 8D
So I think it's prestyled for Remilia's hairdo...

So it's up to you if you want it, but IMO, the colour's slightly off... I think it should be just a teeny tiny bit more purple... but that's just me. 8D

It could be my monitor, but if you think the colour's OK (if you decide to buy it) after you receive it, then all's good?

Not sure if there's a technique for tinting it purple though...

Apparently, it's the same as using the sharpie method (spraying it anyway) just adding less ink.

And hurrrr, I might _have_ to go with the wig anyway, since my friend who's getting the wig for me can only get them from three sites (Don't ask me why, I don't know xD) and I can't really find any more suitable ones.

I'd say the wig is fine, but when you get the actual thing the colour might look right anyway because every monitor has their settings set differently. XD

And while you're at it, mind giving a penny or two on one of my earlier posts about a wig for Yukari as well? 8D?

I'm still a complete n00b about cosplay/wigs, but... I'd say your best bet would be getting a semi-long/long wig, and piling it up on top, using pins and I'm guessing a hellova lot of hairspray xD You could also kind of semi-attach it to the head...piece...hat...thing..bonnet...
With the semi-long wig, you probably wouldn't need to buy extensions for the side bits, but I'd imagine that the wig would have to be decently thick.

Well depends on the size you make them and whether or not theyre retractable and also whether or not theyre easy to take on and off

i would suggest making them if you really want to for a photoshoot and only wear it for the photoshoot to prevent them from being damaged 83
