Dream's hair = Freakishly long. HALP!

Okay, So I'm Cosplaying Dream next year as part of the Auckgeddon CCS group and I was going through google attempting to find reference images (there are NONE) and suddenly realised how freakishly long Dream's hair actually is. I will attempt to share the one and only image of her from the anime... If it works can anyone reccommend where to find such a thing? I found one that's the longest I've seen on Wigfx.co.nz Called the Cher (LOL) but it's still still not long enough. Will I have to get a custom wig made? Hmm? Argh HALP!!!

Save yourself and your bank and just go innacurate.
Long wigs in wind die, very fast and then proceed to look bad.
If you're lucky they can be saved if your unlucky you have to cut it very short to even be able to get it fixed. It requires brushing every few minutes inside the con it's just a pain.
Save yourself and don't go longer than a metre x.x

But if you want to go accurate have fun ><

EH it's so far off and such an epic costume that I want to go the whole way lol. Tempted to get the wig styled beyond belief so that it doesn't blow in the wind though.

have fun ... i have trouble enough with my suiseiseki wig ... its about a metre long and curly to boot ... have to brush it out each time i want to use it ... usually takes me 2 hours

i would go with what fleyer said and go inaccurate

though if you REALLY want to go the whole nine yards

when youre outside the con and its windy i suggest you have a hairtie *the ones without any metal bits or anything the wig can get caught on)

and tie the wig up into a very loose knot wiht it

it wont stop it from tangling and its a PAIN in the ass to tie but at least it wont tangle AS MUCH as it would if the wind blows it everywhere

hey~
1st of all see above posts of issues with annoying long wigs ^_^;
2nd, http://www.cosworx.com/ has a good range of long wigs (once again if you're willing to pay the price, I suggest you order with CNZ when they next shipment is being done)
3rd, it's not as long as you may think. Dream has her/his head tilted back and so it looks like the hair is almost touching the ground, but it's not actually that long.
4th, we me or my friends have long wigs I make sure (or tell them) to put the wig ON AT THE CONVENTION! and then never walk outside~ If you take it off at the convention at the end of the day you also save your self a lot of grief.

YEah. I can be one of those annoying perfectionist people at times. And Dream's hair is one of the things that would make the costume AWESOME. Thanks for the tips :) I'll definitely keep them in mind... I'm currently looking at the Amanda wig on Cosworx... http://www.cosworx.com/product.php?productid=26180&cat=2451&page=1 ... If anyone cares enough to look.
Does anyone know when the next shipment is likely to be?

If you do go for a long long wig, you don't necessary have to take it off whilst outside, but I would recommend tying it back in a loose ponytail when you're not taking photos.

As for cosworx bulk orders - I'm definitely doing one in late January, but I'm happy to start an earlier order; basically I start a waiting list and when the order gets over $400USD I go ahead with it. C:

Okay her hair is like to her Knees atless it's not as long as V.V. 8D...

The Dreams hair is perfectly straight at all times so i say if you wanna use a long wig style it & lock it in place with Hair spray. /is ttly planning to do this with her cosplays

Oh also, other than that the card picture this is the ONLY image of Dream at all Razz

. Ridiculously obscure character. Even though 2 episodes revolve around the Dream Card.

well you're a little on the screwed side of life then arent you.

if hair ties are too scary for you might i suggest little bits fo string where you only do one knot, or a bow? that way you dont have to pull the wig through the hair tie completely, this is of course only if you go with the super long wig option

I would suggest maybe getting a really thick wig as well? Although you'd probably have to put a whole bunch of wefts in to achieve that.
