Cosplay movie oO

Episode form, I was thinking:

One for the set-up of the two random's storyline, one for the space witch, and then two or three for each random world, four to five for the major ones.

Ah it seems so big.
I wanted to start small first like little skits before planning movie versions ;;
actually before even starting this finish setting up the club. Lol so thats what I was gonna post earlier on.

For a quest to different worlds I want like a really really good storyline/plot so I'm gonna end up being fussy (for once oO)

actually maybe get everyones opinions on this oO (on the forum, cosplay.com etc etc) I dunno ><'
for the ultimate cosplay movie cause its gonna take so much time and effort I really wants a awesome storyline (despite being parody or not)
= but like I said earlier not that we can't do more then one movie anyway ^^

I think I got confused, so what is the plot?
or have I missed it cause I haven't even watched Tsubasa.

... That's the basis of the plot, all there- but I've left it open for choice, like the origins of the randoms, ETC.

Uhm, if you don't like it, I'll brainstorm some more ideas... I'd like to try some of my own ideas anyway, so even if you hate them, I'm gonna try scripting and try directing some stuff and just lay down some foundation for everyone to start this from.

Remember, Angie, we can't be completely democratic all the time. ;D

When you said you had an idea I thought it was something smaller xD

Its just for a first 'quest to worlds' cosplay movie I'm gonna be finicky ><' its just cause I've had all these ideas in my head and have been wanting to do it for oh so long >>
For this particular movie at least, I would rather plan the ideas/script etc using everyones opinions, at least everyone who is gonna be in it. For something so big, I'd like to work on it all together you know? Its fun! We could have a meeting and then discuss the plot/script it out ^^
We could make the storyline both serious/parody... have twists/betrayal/iunno.
Do we wanna have it directed with fancy camera angels etc or just all casual.
==Well the aim is to have fun regardless of how we approach it =3

In anycase, I'm not keen to start/plan the movie one yet, it'll be a big project regardless of what the story is. We can toss ideas and stuff fine. But not actually start scripting.
Because, I'd rather film a small 10-30 minute movie first, so we can see how everything works, how far we can go with video editing, what the limits are. Just see how well that goes, before we start planning something big like an 1 hour movie.

Like I've said if people think of skits or movies they want to do we can do them as well, and they can plot/scrip/direct it out themselves, or get others opinions or however way they want to.

We will never have to many skits and movies mwhahahah.

I have no idea what college saga is @@ is it the markleung one? and by ff battle parody i was just meaning a short silly one, like most of the ones they have on youtube lol with just the background music and the options/HP boxes... not an elaborate storyline one Laughing

and I like the idea of the three people going to worlds like KH, but what about having three actual anime/game characters? so they would have to cosplay too.... like e.g. an Edward, Winry, and Roy go to FFland and meet Cloud or something like that.
....or has that already been suggested lol

I only suggested for them to be in non-cosplay because... I forget but there was a reason. Um lol if it was kh style we could almost make it Sora, Riku and Kairi or something hahah.

um um yes college saga is by markleung

and yeah the ff parody, thats what I thought you meant ^^
that would be a good one to try out as one of our first little movie thingies.

I think maybe we shouldn't go for making a movie first off, just 'cause I think it would take yonks of time to write/make/etc an hour movie...
but I like the idea of a series/skit idea (like a tv show - anyone remember cereal stuff from what now?? <strike>back in the good old days</strike> ) and go to a different place each time.
it would be lots easier to process/write/shoot a five/ten minute skit, not to mention editing it all together....

feel free to disagree with me though!

....and on the idea of parodying Tsubasa, you recall (or have you not noticed??) that in every world they go to, there's one girl who is always in the background shots, in the same clothes... we could do something with that - say have ash ketchum/some random always wandering around in the background of the shots....

I also had an idea for one of the skits - to do an Akatsuki parody ('cause who doesn't own an akatsuki coat??) to the song 'men in tights' from the movie of the same name...

or really just parody any group with this song....

Totaly epic idea.
Im agreeing with Riven about poss 'TV Series' style rather than movie.
1. It would be easyer to film and edit.
2. It would be easyer to put on Youtube as we would have to break up a movie to get it to fit.
3. Also it gives possible "Add break" -(WITH ADDS Like Naruto advertising a new Ramen or something) that we could do as a joke. We could also film these as our short little "practices" as they could be posted in there own right as well as being added into the major episodes when we get to them.
4. Follow along the Anime and Manga theme by having 'episodes'.

Ice Cream should be an on running gag through out the story. Very Happy

Technical questions!
What kind of camera would we film this all on? Do we want to just use someones digital camera, or does someone have a spiffy actual video camera they want to lend us? and hows the sound quality going to be?
.... and does anyone have a video editing programme (other than windows movie maker) or are we just going to use WMM? and a computer with lotsa space to put all this wonderful footage onto....

I didn't like big brother much either but what I mean was it would be awesome/funny to see what we can do as a story of how random characters get along with each other when they're stuck together... Then they can go to the confession camera and go "I dont like this person blah blah."
we could get popular characters (both good and evil) from mainstream and some not, and oooh we could make it so funny.

umm, well I'd like to get a spiffy awesome camera for the big movie at least (I mean there's gonna be a lot of time put into it so mileswell try and gets it good) and use a spiffy super special awesome movie editing programme. Which I think we can do but I gota ask bro~

the only video/anime live action things I've seen was college saga, and a couple of other short 10min versions of FF style stuff, oh and a pokemon one which used pokemon plushies.
I've never seen ones with cosplayers doing it ;; not that I've actually looked, I'm sure there must be some out there ^^
