So this does not get buried within the planning of Saturdays meetup and ice cream posts...

This is the beginning of what we need to sort out.
I'll edit the list when we need to add to it... or strike off stuff to say its done ^^

~ Rules
All clubs need rules

~ Committee
Instead of president etc, we'll have a group committee that will handle the tasks of booking events (if so), money, enforcing the rules, support, setting things up etc etc

~ Mascot
Get ideas…
what will the mascot be on? lol everything?

~ Website:
We need to sort out the design, the colours, mascot?
What information:
Intro page what cosplay/club is, Calendar, SCP, Updates (information for our next meeting (how much should be displayed online?)), History (information/diary of our past meetings), Forum links, contacts, FAQ

~ Other online sites
Are they being set up? Who? Will they continue to be updated?
~~Bebo~~, Facebook, LJ, DA, Myspace?

~ Membership: Cards/Badges
How to go about getting them, moneys?
Design, colour, Mascot?
What it’ll say – real name, user name, number? oO

~ Posters
Design; colour, mascot?
Information? Link/contact details?
Where to put?

Ideas from everyone so far:

Mascot:
What
~ have a picture of the Cathedral, or something Chch(ey)
~ use a little cute famous character, moogle, pikachu etc
~ have a mascot contest
~ everyone think of ideas for a mascot and we'll try to combined them all into one big ultimate mascot.

How to get a mascot: everyone submit ideas,
~ Either send in mail
~ Discuss at meeting
~ Create a DA page

What the mascot will be for:
~ on our badges/cards
~ banners/posters
~ website etc
~ a plushie!

i feel like helping out a bit in this club =[ lol do u think i can help design the posters? pleeease i'll be honoured if i could do it! (once i've gotten the mascot and the information placed on the poster)

...having no artistic talent myself (and knowing how awesome your skills are) I'd love to see what you come up with...
also, doodle your own ideas for some mascots!

I meant Wiing was thinking of making a DA page, and I wasn't sure if she had already started it or not. ^^

But yeah, exactly what Riven said, we'd love the help!!! =D
there's lots of things to do, so anyone who wants to help out we welcome with open arms cheers

Also, I want to be the clubs Ice Cream Fanatic just because titles make me feel warm and fuzzy inside ^-^

Are we still thinking about Mascot ideas?

On Sat as we headed towards ice cream.

We walked past the Chalice, and was it just me or doe it look SERIOUSLY like an ice cream cone???
Possibly we could do something with that.

Also while talking with Riven we came up with a possible motto.
"Cosplay... It confuses people!"

Oh!
And I STILL think that if we find somewhere that can make us badges little red Clouds (Strife) would be cool. nyahaha
